There hasn't been an official title for this yet, but let's kick it off with the discussion of this since it seems like it is the popular choice.
What is everyone's current thoughts?

Well I think the big thing we need to decide is how exactly do we want run this thing.
A) Is the open-ended method which basically means everyone writes how things are going and we just keep going off that. People just pick powers and as long as they aren't banned just go.
B) The complex Method everyone gets set strict rules they have to follow. No deviation can come to these rules that is how it goes everything hasa stat and many things add up to it.
C) Is the mixed Method we use the open-ended approach to the story and plot but we set up basically to give people some guidelines they follow.
I personally like C

Generally it is basically it sets up some loose stats so people have a good guideline to follow. Agreed. Essential to newer Rp'ers as well.

I agree it also helps keep down on them writing themselves as Gods. I also think I have a good system thought up for it. I'm all ears. Its simple you get 10 points to distibute among any power they choose and you can only max out 5 for a power loosely based on the Marvel 1-7 ranking so they can be strong but not overwhelming You also get 5 point to distribute among skills basically anything that a normal human could learn to do like Computers or Martial Arts like powers the most any skill can have is 5 EX: Powers: Super Strength: 5 Durability: 1 Heat Vision: 2 Flight: 1 Super Speed: 1 Skills: Martial Arts:4 Aim: 1 One other thing I'm thinking about giving people is the Hero Moment: You know that point where a hero reaches deep down and pulls out everything they have. It can onl be used once in a story and it increses all powers by +1 but after using it you would be exausted and you would loose 2 from each power afterwards until you get a time to rest. Basically this sytem gives everyone giudelines to use there powers and no should be able to over step boundaries. Like with Super Speed of 5 in a room with people that are normal humans will of course always get the first hit. This also means no can be to strong and to versatile at the same time By the way using this system Villains would be a four class area. Villains also can get a stat up to 6 unlike a heros 5 The normal no powered Thug The 5 point Villain: Someone with power but are below you The 10 point Villian: These guys are your equal The 15 point Villian: These guys are team busters but not unbeatable but are still very beatable

So you wish to level up throughout the story? Does everyone agree on that? It might be a problem for some posters as it confuses them and some might not post as frequently, but if they like it I'm game.

I mean you get what you get from the begining and thats what your stuck with that should help prevent confusion

The first chapter will be simple men, we will answer a distress call assigned to us by Major X, we are going to chill out for our first posts and all hear the distress call at the same time.

Try to keep the pace steady, there's nothing wrong with posting alot but other characters shouldn't feel pressured if they haven't fallen behind. Keeps the plot in order, converse and whatnot if you like, but don't try to jump ahead, it frustrates other members who can't or don't post as frequently.

It's defently a hard line to cross but the easiest thing to do is make sure you don't go from one event to the next and don't post more than 1 page between any two people. For instance we won't go past the breifing room until someone else comes in
