I think this is a great game that is a jewel in the making. It offers amazing graphics that look like X-Box cut scenes which is a big boast in the power being brought. The Game Play is a nice break from the run around and shoot and shoot some more first person shooters we have seen lately. While still keeping it an action packed game.

The story is well thought out and different from most futuristic Apocoliptic games about alines from distant places.

the controls are very responsive and while may seem a bit awkard in the begining quickly become second nature by pretty early in the game.

Music is well balanced and adds to the atmosphere and the sound effectas are realistic you almost swear a bullet just wizzed by your head that a gernade really did go off in front of you. The voice acting is another very good part although it does sometimes seem forced.

The game is very fun and does a great job of introducing a new style of gameplay to shooting games making it seem more natural and realistic then anything else that has come about.

Overall a great game and maybe the game that has people people buying the 360 for something other than Halo 3

I originally got it for Halo 3, but i found Gears of War at E3, n i found a new cause.....a cause to defeat the Locust, and protect the our Humanity, by enrolling with the Gears

Oh I know and I loved that idea that instead of the attacks coming from outer space they have come from good old Earth underneath the crust

lol, it's on a planet called Sera, we're technically the aliens, we inhabit the planet, and they live underground.....and want us gone, because of various conflicts in government and society....hey just like the real world today! lol

I probably missed that point because I started playing the game after the intro because my lil bro had already started it

What were your favorite Weapons to have in the game...
I always had to have the sniper rifle and I tried to keep a Boom Gun at all times.

For basic enemies I just used the Magnum revolver gun.

Full Grenades at ALL times, or when i found them, lol
Revolver....i love that fucking thing

i piss off mi friend with the sniper, he's about to kill some1, then their head explodes....that's when he smacks me..... ;D

i love dealing with the wretches with the Revolver

the Lancer....the chainsaw bayonet...do i really have to explain? they made a good choice by putting it on the AUTOMATIC weapon

grenades....they go boom........

Thats a good combo to have.

I just like the Boom Gun instead of the Lancer because everything I use the Lancer for I can take care off with the revolver and the Longshot but when you see alot of people or some Boomers show up I just love taking out my big gun and taking names and kicking @ss

I know if you could get ammo for it like any other weapon it would be possibly the best weapon in the gane if you can fire it accurate enough

The most ammo I ever had for it was like 9 shots

i luv how u can make their heads explode...it's just fun

OH, next time ur playing, and have the revolver, take it to a dead body, u can take his legs off by aiming at his thighs

I never really liked the bow that much..

I'm going to have to try that next time sounds pretty cool.

u just have to get good with the bow....it sux with charging up, but it's excellent to have when fighting RAAM, it takes down his Krill shield instantly, allowing for a faster fight

All I did was wait for his krill to leave and blasted him with the Longshot in the head a few times

i did it with mi friend, he gets rid of the Krill, and i fire with the long shot.....and he keeps on firing

but u know, there is a turret behind where he starts right?...so u can just go to that, really fast fight ;D

I know I tried to make a break for it but that didn't work out well for me

Besides I just like to shoot him on the head it was fun

when the krill r on him is the best time to make a break for it

I bet so although it was fun anyways I think there is defently a Gears 2 on the works especially with that ending they had.
