I'll be seeing it again this weekend. Jeff Bridges was suprisingly good. How is Jeff Bridges "surprisingly good"? Jeff Bridges is the man.

How is Jeff Bridges "surprisingly good"? Jeff Bridges is the man. I'll tell you how Jeff Bridges is "Surprisingly good". Now I've seen quite a few Jeff Bridges movies and best as I can remember he's only played a villain once. That's "The Vanishing" He abducts Keifer Sutherland's girlfriend (Sandra Bullock). He was sort of, kind of creepy in it but to be honest I was never intimidated or in any way threatened by his character. Not to say that I'm so completely emmersed in movies that I feel as if the villain is always after me but I just didn't find him to be a convincing villain. In Iron Man he was convincing throughout the entire picture and was particularly creepy in the Iron Monger suit. Might I just say that it's nice to see someone who respects Jeff Bridges now-a-days.

The Big Lebowski is quite simply the funniest movie ever, man.
Jeff Bridges is so cuddly that it's creepy. He has a menacing pedophile air about him.

I'm not trying to say anything bad about him, I'm just saying that this... ... is the face that he makes when he's HAVING SEX WITH YOUR CHILDREN!

I saw it and liked it, part of the reason I had to see it was because everyone associates me with Tony Stark for some reason.

This movie was awesome. I saw it last night.
But, seriously, I laughed out loud when Pepper was at the computer, and she typed TRANSLATE and suddenly the guy started speaking English.

I must be the only one that found this movie to be a bit lacking. I think that it's cool that you all found it good, but I only found it mediocre.
I found the terrorists to be boring, and the main villain to be lame.
I did like Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of Tony, and I do hope that they continue the series.

The first movies tend to be slow like that though, because they have to introduce the main character in.

This movie was incredibly awesome, great actors, some pretty good action, and a hero with a badass suit. I'd firmly give this movie an 8/10 and I firmly believe that this movie wasn't quite on par with "The Incredible Hulk" and "The Dark Knight".

Either way I like Tony Stark more than the other characters, but I agree about the comparison with it and Dark Knight.

Batman & the Hulk will always be my top two heroes, that's for sure. The movie Iron Man did get me to like the character, though. Great experience.
