Well they don't have to tell the other members why they were banned but it's good to have it that way, on the plus side they can't really count how many warnings you have if you get them from several mods.

Really? Well, there should be some way for the members to find out how many warnings they have without asking the moderators.
I don't think it's fair how some people get banned for having a large amount of warnings, yet the regular posters will never know for sure since they don't have access to that information.

Nobody knew exactly how many warnings there were for the members, the trouble makers were just remembered (like Whirly), or if someone did something severe. The current way is better to keep track and so they don't so many warnings. They have a mod place which allows them to discuss that stuff, it's just invisible to us.

Which isn't fair. How are we suppose to know if a person deserved a ban if he wasn't even warned enough? How do we know if a person was warned enough if some of the warnings are given via PM? Some people get banned after getting two warnings while others won't get banned until they have five warnings. I guess certain discrepancies are worth more warnings than other discrepancies.
Yeah, I know about the mod forum. I wonder what goes on in there...

I think it's because certain people are the ones who are committing the offenses...

Yea, some more likely than others, I know they have discussions on "close to ban" members, at least back in the day.
