Although the video is hilarious, I really wouldn't mind seeing an anime based on the SSB series. There's already a Sonic anime and a Kirby anime, so a SSB anime should be possible. I guess it could follow the Subspace Emissary story from SSBB.

Well, it could be a couple of episodes. If it's too long, then we might have to suffer through filler episodes that have nothing to do with the storyline.
I wouldn't mind the filler episodes as long as they're funny.

Yea a few characters would have some interesting ones. But if it's going to be about a tourney with no real protagonist then filler episodes wouldn't be a good idea.

I think the characters should have a fair share of screentime, but the Mario-related characters should get more since they're fron Nintendo's most popular franchise.

I think the characters should have a fair share of screentime, but the Mario-related characters should get more since they're fron Nintendo's most popular franchise. I think I'd like it about even for once, I see a lot of over saturation as it is. |

I really don't think it can be even for 35 characters.
If the anime is going to follow the Subspace Emissary storyline, then the Mushroom Kingdom charcters should be getting more screentime.

Ness could have a decent amount of screentime since he could be paired with Lucas, which is what he did in the Subspace Emissary in SSBB.
