MARVEL [/size][/color] Okay, guys here's how it works and I hope you guys appreciate this idea.  I want you to create your own marvel fanfics and post them here. It can be about any marvel character or an original character if you want. But, there are a couple of rules: #1: There has to be at least one marvel Character in your story. Don't care who it is, but there has to be one. Furthermore, please try to link a profile regarding said marvel character. It's not necessary, but when dealing with obscure characters it would be much appreciated. #2 Please keep it marvel related at the very least, I'm okay with cross overs with other characters from different verses. But, the story it's self has to emphasize at the very least some marvel topics. #3 Finally, the most important rule and the theme of this thread: PLEASE KEEP EVERY STORY LIMITED TO ONE POST.[/color] No double post and no "To be continues" furthermore, if you have a two part story let me know in advanced, because I want this thread to emphasize short story[/center] |

This seems like a cool idea, but this is my first time writing a fanfic...
Spiderman and Venom were having some fun racing through the city. Although Spiderman was slightly faster, Venom was always able to win by slowing Spiderman down with traps and tricks. Spiderman tried setting up his own traps, but they kept endangering the lives of the nearby citizens. It wasn't long until Spiderman got frustrated and decided to bet Venom $10 that he could beat him in the next race to the Daily Bugle building. Venom agreed since he likes the feel of winning. Plus, he'd be able to buy the latest issue of "Men's Health and Fitness" with the $10.
A couple of minutes later, they started the race. Spiderman was in the lead for the first couple of minutes, but Venom was close behind. It's been about 6 minutes since they started the race, and Spiderman was still in the lead with Venom close behind. Suddenly, both Venom and Spiderman heard a cry for help at the top of the nearest building. They looked up and saw a young lady hanging off the roof of the building, and she was about to fall. Spiderman said that she'll be okay since she's hanging off the Mattress Inc building, which means she might land on one of the display beds when she falls, so he kept racing. Venom couldn't believe Spiderman would think like that, so he rushed to the building and saved the lady just before she fell. Spiderman made it to the Daily Bugle, and Venom arrived about 12 seconds later with the lady. He was disappointed at Spiderman letting a race have higher priority than the life of a citizen, but Spiderman just laughs. Spiderman told him that the lady was there on purpose since she agreed to help him win the race. Spiderman knew that Venom would never let a race be more important to a citizen's life, but he just wanted to make sure. Venom gives Spiderman a handshake for coming up with a clever trick, then pins him to the ground with his webbing. Although Spiderman has been incapacitated by Venom's webbing for several hours, he'll never forget that Venom owes him $10.
