Yea, he's on a cosmic scale, it isn't really fair. Current Strange isn't as powerful as his classic counterpart, but still quite powerful.

While Strange's overall magic is strong enough to deal with demi-gods and such, he's no faster than a human. A Harry Potter wizard like Bellatrix could apparate behind him and cast the killing curse before Strange could defend himself. It's possible.

He has the reflexes to deal with high end godlike beings. He only needs to get up his shield. He could also freeze time, remove them from reality, or just turn them into cats or something. Strange is far too powerful. |

Strange also has innate protection with his many artifacts. Strange can just take away the entire atmosphere of Earth and kill all of them. Nothing against the wizards, but Strange is too much. |

He's given others super speed, himself super speed, destroyed planets, fought death, and Shuma Gorath (a powerful being). Should be more than enough proof, no? |
