I don't distinctively believe in hating on things that are popular, although many popular things are overrated.

My opinion on Lil' Wayne is that his current music is garbage especially compared to newcomers like Drake and legends like Eminem. Can he do better? Maybe, but he is marketed broadly and makes loads of money so he doesn't really try to come up with much. Yet people say he's the best alive? Please, he and Souja Boy are just ruining rap with their lyrics.

Now, some of his songs are interesting to listen to, in a guilty pleasure sort of way, most of his stuff is pretty wack nowadays. Listen to forever, he is probably the worst, he definitely isn't the best. Stuff like "lollipop" only make it worse, he is more of a ringtone rapper like souja boy.

IMO, Wayne is one of the hottest lyrcist out right now. But I do think he lacks in lyrical subject. He never talks about real shit and when he does, his metaphores and delivery suffer. It seems as if he doesn't know shit but the elementary hip hop material. His vocabulary is small as well or so it seems.

I don't like Drake very much as far as music goes. I am so tired of autotune that my ears have become def to it. People tell me, "How can you not like Drake, did you here what he just said?" And I'm like, "It's in auto tune, I can't hear in that frequency." If you aint T-Pain and your usin' auto tune in a serious song, your a sell out. Kanye West, one of my all time favs sold out when he did that album in auto tune. Even though, I'm a fan, I can admit that shit.

And Em, I still got much respect and he killed er body on that "Forever", but his skillz aint as hot as the once were. He got a couple hitz on that Relapse album but most of that shit is stupid, imo.

I admit, Soulja boy aint what I would call a real rapper, but he's just a young dude. I don't expect him to talk about real shit. He doin' stupid and silly shit but he's young and , imo, it "SOUNDS" decent. His shit is somthin' I can dance to at the end of the day. But that's just me.

If something is good it is, like Street Fighter is good and popular. Em isn't as hungry as he once was, and it shows. Drake isn't bad, but he is something different than the same old typical stupid rap we had grown accustomed to hearing, how much can one talk about pussy, money, and weed with no other substance. Kanye was different and creative, but he has everyone mad at him now with Taylor Swift, who is getting more rewards than she really should as well.

I don't like it when people choose to be cheap and don't give presents to other people, yet that person expects people to give presents to him/her. I'm talking about teenagers/adults, of course. One of my neighbors (17 years old) said he didn't feel like giving any presents to his parents, but yet he hoped that one of them would get him a new watch. Honestly, I just think that's selfish and wrong.

Can't stand cheap and selfish people. Stingy with the wallet is stingy with the heart.

Nothing wrong with being frugal though, that is just spending your money wisely to your advantage. Cheap is just "What is the cheapest way right now, and does what it does?" That way causes problems. Especially when people want it to be all about them, a common trait in cheap people. But not in frugal people, they recognize value vs price.
