Haha Drake, haven't heard his material in a while. I don't listen to mainstream music much.

Me either. Since about 09. That's about right when I stopped. I listen to mostly talk radio like Peter Schiff, but I still have some of the classics I listen to.

It does make me think 90's too; some great stuff then. It seems like western rap has some pop feel going on now. I don't listen to it much anymore so I can't pinpoint it.

It's western music in general, I just dislike how haughty it is. Turns my stomach, I remember when I was on stormfront and they were discussing rap music. Somebody asked straight up "Why do people care about a n*gger rapping about how much shit he's got". I was laughing for a while. I dunno, the music feels more "real" over there which is weird and you don't have music acts constantly fighting with each other. Like compare Destiny's child to my favorite perfume [my avi and sig]. Destiny's child was always infighting and they've change members so many times before the band broke up. Alot of it might be beyonces ego [She's a real bitch and the incarnation of aggressive american whore]. Meanwhile Perfumes been around since they were pre-teens and are still together. Western music just feels like bullshit.

People over here are obsessed with stardom more than anything. Just general attention whoring, which I hate. It's rare to find someone doing something because they simply enjoy it I.E. the hobbyist mentality. Everything is a scheme for attention. That's why we have things like poseurs.

Well that and the fact people just do whatever's "trendy", nowadays being a gamer or "nerd" is trendy.

I read some study that americans use to hire people who were more introvertive/task oriented in the 70's while now they're more extrovertive/people oriented now.

Depending on the position you need people skills, I think it's good to have all around talent though, and you want competence. In the days of networking it's no surprise that establishing connections is important.

Yeah, but then you have the people who love the social situations to much and it becomes less about business.

Yeah, but then you have the people who love the social situations to much and it becomes less about business. Yea, those businesses tend to fail in the long run with no fundamentals.

No real professionalism combined with immaturity. People in this country need to grow up.

No real professionalism combined with immaturity. People in this country need to grow up. We have a country of entitled children. So glad I didn't work at a job for very long. The freedom comes from not needing to, unfortunately the theft they enact on entrepreneurs is starting to make this bad in the US as well.

When a country becomes poorer, that's exactly what happens. People depend more and more on the growing government, which steals from the workers.

You think were becoming poor? I mean look how low we are when it comes to median wealth. Japan is surprisingly high, never would have thought it.

Our standard of living is rapidly decreasing, but we prop it up with borrowed money. Basically the classes are going away due to poverty caused by big government.

You have a site on the topic of our standard of living? I've been trying to find a site that measures standards of living around the world and to see which ones are going up or down?

You have a site on the topic of our standard of living? I've been trying to find a site that measures standards of living around the world and to see which ones are going up or down? I think you're better off looking at our standard of living and comparing it to real money compared to what we have now, for instance, Peter did some statistics showing that the average person earned about $143,000 a year compared to now where they make around $43,000 a year and pays taxes. The person in the past lived pretty much tax free. Many charts can be deceiving so you have to be careful who you use. They don't always take the full account in the living standard, especially in the US.
