I might cave in and get a console just for this game. Then again, I feel holding out forces people to take PC more seriously, I dunno. Me and my friend were discussing this just now. I think we're seeing excellent progress with games coming on PC more and more now. I know I wouldn't get a console because I couldn't justify the time investment as it is. I feel that. You're so busy as it is.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Wishes You a Sexy Christmas with Santa Costume It’s almost Christmas, which means that it’s time for cheer, celebration and… sexy Santa costumes, at least if you play Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. Koei Tecmo just made a new outfit aptly named “Santa Claus” available on the Japanese and Asian PlayStation Store, and it’s of course Holiday-themed. You can find it here for PS4 and here for PS Vita. The links are from the Asian PlayStation Store, since I assume most of you grabbed an English language copy of the game. Incidentally, this isn’t the first Holiday-themed outfit the game gets, as the previous set was styled after a reindeer, and named Biscuit. You can find it here for PS4 and here for PS Vita. As usual, the costumes are available for purchase via in-game Zack Dollars for a limited time, before they’re rotated out for new ones. Source: dualshockers

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Gets New and Sexier Officer DLC Costume for Your Waifus Now you can let your favorite waifu arrest you with her charms. What you do with the truncheon is none of our business. Roughly two weeks ago, Koei Tecmo released a sexy officer uniform named “Sea Anemones” as a DLC for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. Apparently someone must have felt that it wasn’t sexy enough, so today they released another that covers less skin. The new uniform, coming as usual in nine colors, is named “Ocean Sunfish” and it even comes with a gun and a police truncheon that your favorite waifu can use on your back if you’re not a good boy. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Finally Getting Sexy PlayStation VR Feature with Improved Graphics on PS4 Pro After a long wait, today Koei Tecmo finally announced the release of the promised PlayStation VR feature of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. The feature, named “VR Paradise” will be free exclusively to those who purchased the game and only for a limited time. Tomorrow (January 24th) a DLC named “VR Passport” will be made available for download, and it will remain free until February 28th. After the end of the free period, those who didn’t download it will have to pay 1,500 yen plus taxes, but those who downloaded it in time will be able to keep using the feature for free. The PlayStation VR mode will not be free for those who downloaded the free to play version of the game. Those who want to enjoy the girls in virtual reality without paying for the full game, will have to purchase a special “VR Passport Set,” that will be sold for 2,900 yen plus taxes, including the license to play with Marie Rose and Honoka. It’ll also be possible to purchase the VR Passport on its own for 1,500 yen plus taxes, but in that case you’ll get to play only with Kasumi. The VR Passport will actually be downloadable from within the game, with a dedicated option. VR Paradise also comes with the ability to enjoy Gravure Paradise, Event Paradise and Photo Paradise features at the appropriate owner levels. Interestingly, the mode supports PS4 Pro, providing a better image quality. The screenshot at the top of the post is explicitly indicated as a PS4 Pro screenshot, but the announcement specify that support for the new console will be limited to VR Paradise, and won’t be extended to the rest of the game. Incidentally, the PS4 version of the full game will also be on sale on the Japanese PSN from January 24th to February 13th, dropping from 7,619 yen plus taxes to 4,800 yen plus taxes. At the moment, it’s unknown whether the same discount will be applied to the Asian version, which includes English subtitles. With a Tweet in Chinese, the official account of the game announced that tomorrow’s release date is in Japan only. Release dates in other markets are undecided at the moment. This means that if you purchased the Asian version with English subtitles, you’ll have to wait and hope longer, and we don’t know how long. Of course, we’ll let you know if anything new is announced about this. Source: dualshockers (info) & gematsu (images)

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Getting Destructible Senran Kagura Crossover Costumes, Bikinis and More Today’s issue of Weekly Famitsu include information and screenshots of the upcoming DLC goodies coming to Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 over the next month or so. Starting tomorrow, we’ll get destructible costumes based on the Senran Kagura series, while another Senran Kagura-inspired set of bikinis featuring malfunctions will be released by the end of the winter. Between February 2nd and February 15th, there will also be a costume celebrating Valentine’s Day, which is basically just a ribbon wrapped around the girls’ bodies. I guess that’s better than chocolate… As usual, the costumes should be purchasable with in-game Zack dollars, granting the choice not to spend a dime on them, which is always welcome. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Valentine’s Day Costume Released: it’s Literally Just a Ribbon Valentine’s Day is coming and Koei Tecmo is celebrating by releasing a new DLC costume for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, aptly titled “for you.” The costume is available now for PS4 and PS Vita, and as usual requires the separate download of a catalog file. And yes, the costume is literally just a ribbon, because the heroines of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 are a gift that keeps on giving. Unfortunately, you can’t really unwrap the gift (at least not in this game, and not without using naughty mods), but that’s the nature of the beast. It’s still much better than chocolate. Once downloaded the DLC, you’ll be able to purchase all of the nine variation of the costume in the owner shop with in-game currency, or opt to spend real money to purchase premium tickets. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Gets its Last Free DLC Sexy Bikini, and it Shows a Ton of Skin [NSFW] All good things inevitably come to an end (unless you’re talking about Dead or Alive 5: Last Round‘s DLC costumes), and today Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 received its last free DLC bikini. Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja adopted an interesting model for most additional bikinis and costumes for the game, delivering them essentially for free and then letting players decide if they prefer to grind for them or to accelerate acquisition by purchasing premium tickets with real money. The year-long string of bi-weekly releases ends today, as officially announced by the publisher, with a mention that if the plan changes, more information will be given on the official website. That said, older releases will be still made available periodically, for those who didn’t buy all the costumes during their limited-time appearances. Team Ninja kept the best for last, and the new costume, named “Salmon Roe,” is definitely one of the sexiest in the game, leaving very little to the imagination, especially from behind. Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 fans will also most probably recognize the design. DLC costume delivery for the game won’t completely end, as a second set of Senran Kagura-inspired bikinis has already been announced, but it will most likely be paid like the first. Speaking of the Asian version, there is still no word on the release of the PlayStation VR feature, after it was launched in Japan a few weeks ago. Koei Tecmo has yet to confirm whether it’ll be launched at all or not. You can check out all the nine variations of the new bikini below. As usual, the girls won’t exactly like super-sexy designs, so gift at your own risk. Source: dualshocker

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 VR coming today for the Asian releases
Written By: NyuNozomiHyuga
Well its been awhile since I've posted Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 VR which only had a Japanese release when it was released at January 24 of current year. But as of recently, Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 VR will be getting its update on Asian releases (English, Chinese, & Korean languages). Heres a bit of description from dualshockers:
"Owners of the game will be able to download the “VR Pass” for free tomorrow, after updating the game to the 1.16 version. To do that, you’ll need to launch the game, select “VR Paradise,” and you will be prompted to connect to the PlayStation Store, where you’ll find the free “VR Pass” DLC. At that point, you can download it, and you’re set.
The VR Pass will be available for free only until August 31st. If you don’t get in time, you’ll have to pay for it.
Those that have the free version of the game will also be able to purchase the VR Pass in combo with the license to play with Marie Rose and Honoka.
Interestingly, the VR Paradise feature is enhanced for those who play it on PS4 Pro, but this does not extend to the rest of the game."
Its nearly been 7 months, were finally getting an English release of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 VR which is a good thing. I'll be downloading the VR experience (also try to save money for VR) so I can experience Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 VR first person.
