Yoshi is pretty damn small for a dinosaur. And a baby killer too. He's cold blooded.

Well, I'd love to have one for a pet.
Yoshis aren't picky, so it wouldn't be hard to feed them.

I'm sure I've said this before, but both female and male yoshies are capable of producing explosive eggs. Females are the only ones capable of producing eggs with baby yoshies inside of them, of course, but those are different than the explosive eggs.
Female yoshies aren't "cold-blooded killers" because they don't take one of their eggs from their litter and throw it at a nearby threat because those eggs don't explode. Only the eggs they get from eating other things can explode.
I remember reading about this several years ago in one of those biographies about yoshies.

I'm surprised nobody questioned it earlier. I haven't seen an official female Yoshi before.

Female yoshies look the same as male yoshies.
In the video games, the only way you can tell the gender of a yoshi is by its voice. Female yoshies have higher voices than male yoshies, and there's a good example of that in Yoshi's Story (N64). Also, their color does not affect their gender, which means it's possible to have a male pink yoshi and a female blue yoshi.
Nintendo might create noticeable differences between the male and female yoshies in the future to make it easier to identify the gender, which is what they did with the pokemon for the 4th generation, but it's doubtful. The yoshi that we see in almost every Mario game is male.

In the Super Mario World Game, my favorite Yoshi was blue since he could fly with any shell.

Overall, my favorite yoshi is the black one. Or Pokemon look like them rather, since they generally came after. Well, I meant the fictional creatures in other video games.

Oh I know, I was saying that the pokemon were inspired largely off of other things. I like Black too, but in Yoshi's story didn't the black and white one have different abilities?

Yep, and they were much better than the other colors because:
1. The explosions from their eggs were bigger. 2. They could eat things that the other yoshies didn't like, i.e. chile peppers. 3. They could glide faster and farther after eating the heart fruit.
It would've been nice if all of Yoshi's colors were available in the SSB series.

Wow, someone got too happy with the steriods. I'm surprised Michael Vick didn't get ahold of that dog... I was looking up the Black Yoshi and he IS strong. Yep, and the white yoshi is just as strong as him.
