Alf thinks Cap is superhuman, but I don't think he'd be happy if he was immortal. I'm not sure how I feel about the immortality thing, meh.

I have no problems with the immortal thing it about time they explained it. Makes a lot of senses as well. Not to mention he been stated as immortal since 91.

I have seen Alfheim however go back and completely change his view on threads like Cap vs. Spiderman, which to me I hadn't seen someone change their views like that in a long time.
Characters are stated as alot of things. I'm not sure if they can write it so his "immortality" is feasible and not a marketing ploy. That remains to be seen.

I'm not saying he isn't, my point was that characters are always "hinted" at many things, like unlimited potential for instance. Not something I take seriously unless it lasts and is actually shown.

His "immortality" has very specific conditions as well, if I recall myself.

His immortality is kinda cool actaully there always the slight chance he could die for good. I really see nothing wrong with it it makes him not harder to defeat.

But I only recall him choosing to die "once", it wasn't like he just couldn't be destroyed, it was him having to want to return.

Alf thinks Cap is superhuman, but I don't think he'd be happy if he was immortal. I'm not sure how I feel about the immortality thing, meh. Well he is enhanced to be precise but sometimes the terms overlap. I can quote sources, i did some reasearch you know. lol he also think capt beats a lot of people he does not. Oh yeah like who? On second thoughts nevermind not in the mood to get into this debate. *remembers the cap vs spidey thread* *shudders* Well to tell the truth I think this immortality thing kinda sux. First hes 200 years old, then hes beating Cap at strategy blah blah blah blah they just keep on adding stuff. they should make him a cosmic character and stop wasting time. He keeps getting these ****ing upgrades. I like Cap but sometimes all he has is shield. Eventhough its indestructible and hes incredible skillful I just wish sometimes that he had some more gadgets for **** sake.

Cosmic Wolverine, I could see it now. Cap is described at the pinnacle of human abilities. I don't see him directly described as superhuman though he can do superhuman things.

This is bull.
I remember when Wolverine was knocked out fairly easily and the only things that kept him going was his sense of honor and his tenacity. Now it's because he's immortal? BS

The only thing this mean is he can not die for good if he chooses not to. it does not make him any harder to defeat. people just think it does becuase of DP which for some odd reason once he was amde immortal his healing factor trippled

I guess, but is there really a major point to it? It has to be written really well to be kept up, and nowadays writers are so damned lazy.

To be honest, I doubt it will. Wolverine writers don't seem to utilize anything well, especially common sense. Look at Enemy of the State. Also, I don't really know much about his martial art skill, and who all has trained him, but it never shows. EVER! At best, I've seen him use elements of Sambo and Shotokan Karate-do. More than anything is strategy is hack and slash. When it comes to this immortality issue, it seems more like an excuse for Jeph Loeb to do whatever the hell he wants when he takes over the book next year.

That is what I'm getting at, it seems they are only trying to please the more diehard rather than the original fans, is it too hard to come up with a character who uses this strategy they are said to have? Instead of waltzing through everything?

Maybe we should hand Wolverine over to Hudlin and watch the hairy Canadian midget get his ass kicked by Black Panther. Might be fun.
