Hulk vs. Superman

Well this is a classic discussion. We know Supes can BFR him, but Hulk has limitless potential. But Superman can absorb more sunlight in desperate times... I think Supes truly going out can beat Hulk, but Hulk has the physical advantage in the end.

I don't see Superman getting tired on Hulk, he will simply absorb more sunlight when he needs it.

Well as long as the sun is up Hulk will not win, not to mention he won't touch Supes if Supes doesn't want him too.

well as long as hulk's adrenaline levels increse hulk's getting stronger and as long as there's gamma radiatin about hulk's getting a boost and when superman says something dumb he's pissing hulk off added boost there.

Superman IS getting tired happened many times befoere depute the sun being up.

Hulk can't hit Superman unless Superman lets him.

This isn't what has happened it's what will. Hulk has been Ko'ed by Iron man. Superman can get powerful faster and easier, if he's not holding back, Hulk has nothing but strength on his side, Superman will have no problem with him unless he wants to.

Hulk was beaten by Batman, we're not going to use low feats are we? If we go by what each character is capable of doing in a certain probability and amount of time, it would look better for Superman. Hulk would need too many things to go his way for him to win. Supes will always have Solar Energy, Flight, and... "t-vo". Hulk just has physical abilities, he just can't compete on many levels.

And hulk's superior physical capabilties will negate most of supes output i.e heat vision, speednlitz aint doing shit espiically as Hulk has taged speedsters before...........Prof hulk totally calm has vibrated his hands 1/9th the speed of light hulk re;fexes and speed increses when wit adreneline anything supes does that irratates hulk hulk will be strong enough tom seperate supe torso from his legs in one go. i.e just red 'tempest fugit'

whatever damge supes does that is able to hurt hulk all it does is anger him more causing him to get stronger and he heals form it in an instant.

Spiderman,DD, and Wolverine have all given Hulk problems. Supes is many times the speed of light, Hulk has been ko'ed.

Superman starts out at a higher level than Hulk right at the start of the match, sorry, but it's simply true. Things Hulk do Supes could do early on. There is no set limit for his strength. Basically what you're stating is that Hulk has an advantage Physically, in the end that's definitely possible and I'm not arguing that. My point is who will win in a match where Superman doesn't hold back. There's nothing Hulk can do, Hulk CAN get ko'ed early on. Hulk CAN be thrown into space. The only way he wins is if we make it a biased match and give him benefits of the doubt in many areas, which isn't fair at all.

I'm usually horrible when it comes to posting scans, but don't think I've forgotten about this. I'll see if I can find the Hulk vs. Superman fights where it took him days to reach Supes' strength level.

Personally I think that all the garnish on Superman just makes them more equal and what it really boils down to isn't that Superman has teh speed or teh T-vo or teh strength I think it boils down to Superman just being more level-headed. I think he'll outwit Hulk. Now if he's fighting Professor Hulk then he might just overpower him but (probably not) it doesn't really matter.

Superman's not an idiot and Hulk at his most powerful is.

It's just that DC chars start out on higher powe levels in general.

its a crossover and no they don't becuase i can think of more marvel heroes that can genrally beat most dc heros respectively.

but i do agree with part of your statment as most dc villains do seem to be in higher levels.

Marvel heroes would have a harder time against DC until you start using Cosmics and Gladiator. Remember heroes aren't characters like Galactus and the like, the most powerful ones are chars like Surfer and the Sentry. DC has ridiculous ones like Supes and GL, who are like walking plot devices.

It had some good parts, but for the most part it was crap.

IMHO, it totally depends on the match up. Silver Surfer would take down Supes rather quickly. Someone like Quasar would take a slight majority from most GL's.

If you are talking overall power level, I dont really think that one company is more powerful than the other. It just depends on how you set up the matches.

I just meant in the hero sense that their characters tend to be consistently more powerful.

You tell me Superman is way faster and I tell you he uses it like an idiot and he will get hit because Hulk gets progressively faster as he gets angrier. It always catches people off guard. You tell me Superman can just fly up and get away and I say Hulk has caught the Silver Surfer before in flight why wouldn't he catch Superman.

Yes. Hulk does win in a locked cage.
Superman is so hard to work with feat-wise but you have to learn the appropriate set of logic to use with those characters.
