Has anyone read the Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo manga? I have a friend who says it is good, and he doesn't even like the anime.

When people like EL and Chimpeee stop watching it and the ratings go down.

I can't really think of a worst anime at the time, other than Bobobo. I tend to stay away from anime that is not intellectual in some way or has an evil, or at least maniacal, protagonist; Bleach is an exception to the tendency, though.

Not surprising that a good amount of those are based off video games.

Its a show about people fighting with toy tops, so it has to be bad. Really, I never watched the show so I can't really judge it just by what little I have heard about it.

I've seen Beyblade, and it was very... odd. For some reason I still watched it, probably because I hadn't discovered any good shows at that time.

Imagine, if you will, two young children "launching" spinning tops, which they spent grueling hours customizing with different parts and whatnot, into a large bowl-like "arena" and giving commands to said tops as if they were pokemon. And then, each top contains a spirit called a "bit-beast" that gives it some special ability, and, of course, the main character's is based off of a dragon (it's even called Dragoon). I can't say much more, cause I can't remember anything else, or maybe I just don't want to...

Yeah... Thank God I stopped halfway through the first season, or my brain might have killed itself to escape such torture. That's never a pretty sight.

Beyblade sucked because it was repetative. Yu-gi-oh sucked because they explained the cards for about 26 minutes of a 22 minute long show.
