Yeah, there is that. C.HP launcher into 3 MP or HP Psycho headbutts, Rinse & repeat, the variable is the number of headbutts before chaining in the next launcher, You can throw a MP or HP Cryo/Pyro Kinesis in there to throw them back up for another launcher, and the finisher, which could be the 2 hit HK axe kick, A Cryo/Pyro Kinesis, A Saber Lariat, or if you do the launcher last before the finisher, you can finish with the Meteor Shower for the win if you don't let them land in stun and finish with the Seraphic Wing

Oh and I was talking about the classic Battletoads, but beating the arcade version on hard without dying might be even harder than the other games in all honesty.

Normal system direction he can't do the Kinesis moves to continue the chain, and you have to keep doing the Headbutts more than the launchers to continue the chain, but, the finishers besides the Kinesis all still work, including the launcher to meteor Shower.
I did that, Years ago, back when I still had the patience and free time to learn the ins and outs of the old sidescrollers. And while my experience with sidescrollers is vastly improved over the years, intricate details of individual games are more poorly understood for me, I kick all ass in Streets of Rage 2, but somehow I am only average in SOR3

So broken. Gill just had everything. You did that with Battletoads arcade on the hardest setting without dying? The arcade version *is* much easier due to infinite lives, but at the same time if you try to do it in one life you often die as on the hardest setting many normal attacks kill you in a hit. But it's a lot more random than the other two games. While those are overall much harder, you get the pattern down and much of the game stays the same. But they have the reputation that they do for a reason.

Yes, Gill had a lot of cheeze. However, he certainly wasn't the hardest fighting game boss I've ever fought, Not even the hardest Capcom fighting game boss.
Yes, but that was an awful long time ago... almost 20 years. Back then, I had nothing but games to play.

Yeah, but classic Gouki was basically a faster more powerful Ryu/Ken cross with a few more moves, Whereas guys like any recent Shin Akuma, Cyber Akuma, Gill, Shin Bison (Especially EX3 Shin Bison) Almost any SNK Boss, They bekame brokenly powerful and had uber moves thumbtacked onto an already awsome moveslist (S.Akuma's Misogi was perhaps THE most broken move ever invented)

His shoryuken did like 70% damage in some cases, he didn't even need the other moves. In later games you had supers and other options that you didn't have before (like air guard), back then things were so simple it left you with little was out. I'm banking I could win a hell of a lot easier with classic Shin Gouki than the other one. Misogi rocks though, it's a shame a throw does the same damage back to him, lol.

I dunno, it seems like for every new ability the player can pick up as the games progressed, the bosses seemed to find new cheap assed ways around your moves, check Seth out, he has all the speed reach and close combat around right? then they give him the Spinning Piledriver, AND an instantaneous hit from anywhere Ultra.

True, ultimately it was the AI being harsher in all games back then and the fact that they had limitations. In all reality the programmers could make it where the computer would pretty much always win even with equal stats, computers have been outperforming humans for a long time. But that would be cheap and would only be beatable by exploits. The classic SF 2 AI was a lot more brutal than the more reasonable bosses. By the same token you have super's, Ultra's, and Ex moves. I see what you mean though, if classic sf2 akuma had 5 supers with his difficulty, he'd be a mess.

I'm sorry but you really have no idea what you're talking about. Tekken survival mode? Really? It's like comparing a small helpless baby bunny rabbit to the iron clad monolithic mega laser tank that is SSBM. Truly, you are naive.

Er.....I wasn't comparing the two. I was just asking how many wins you guys had on Tekken survival mode. Tekken 3 to be specific.
No need to be an asshole.

RJ don't worry about Mike and David, they're hardcore Smash fans. Don't let him bother you. (I just now saw that exchange). #comp03# They're all good games and they have their areas of challenge. Tekken, SF, Smash, etc. Hey, I'm an eye witness. I can't believe you don't believe me Cordera. We post vids here, so us mere mortals can learn by seeing.

Well I just won 3 tournaments with my eyes closed and my hands behind my back. But you can't see that, because I must see Battletoads mastery first.

Never been a fan of Smash i know the Nintendo fans love it but me.....eh i'd rather play Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. Yea, Nintendo fans really love it. It's a solid mascot fighter. MK isn't that deep in terms of fighting system, but it has story and cool kharacters. SF is great in fighting system, although Capcom likes to milk the franchise and be lazy. Making the same game over and over.
