I can understand that. I hate everyone equally, so that is how I expect to be treated. Bah, you're a big softie. I know.

great story. That is the story that got me interested in Thanos. The first one I read was #4 where he battles the heroes.

Hey everyone!...Think about this... what if you spend your whole life not believing in God, then you die and find out there is one, whats gonna happen to you, you'll burn in hell. Now what if you spend your whole life believing in God, then you die and find out there isn't one, whats gonna happen to you, absolutly nothing.

I think it is good to believe in God. If he exists or not (which I think he does) the teachings of the Bible are good for everyone to follow.

That isn't 100% true, because I sin my ass off but I still believe in GOD. As long as you want to be trully forgiven you most likely will. Then you can go out and sin again and hopefully not go to hell.

I think it is good to believe in God. If he exists or not (which I think he does) the teachings of the Bible are good for everyone to follow. Most people who argue the stuff haven't actually sat down and tried it or even read it. None of the stuff in there is really so bad and horrid, the hypocrite excuse can only go so far as well. You are in charge of your own life. Would you let hypocrites stop you from doing something you wanted to do, needed to do, or loved to do?

I fully agree, but of course you should strive not to, our imperfections are only as valuable as the effort we put forth in trying. He's always there but we shouldn't take advantage of the fact he's eternal correct?

The people in my neighborhood could give 2 squirts of piss about bettering them selves, to them it's all about having fun and I'm afraid that that's what's rubbing off on me.

So you believe that God is real, but do shit to piss him off anyway? Not exactly the smartest thing I've ever heard.

I'm being serious here.
I mean, people who don't take so literally the whole 'touch a woman on her period, wash your hands' thing are making sense.
But then it comes to the the Ten Commandments type crap, and people who don't uphold them but claim to believe in God. That is the stuff that is specifically labelled as "You don't do this, you go to Hell", and they don't fucking do it! Baffles the mind.

People can't judge though... no human can judge ultimately who goes to hell, but you have to worry about your own relationship like I said, you can only blame other people so much. The period stuff and whatnot is old testament, take it lightly.

That is old testament and those were redone so the rules are outdated and archiac. Unless you were talking about the behavoiur of others being the sole reason. I was saying a discouragement is one thing but a sole reason is another.

That's what I was saying. I should have been more clear.
I don't think I said anything about that.
The Ten Commandments, whether Old Testament or not, are a basic part of Christianity. It's like the eggs in a cake.
All the trivial Old Testament crap like the hand-washing and stuff, that is the icing on the cake. You can get rid of them and still have the cake.
But to get rid of the eggs? Then you no longer have cake. You can still eat whatever it is, and you can call it cake, but IT'S NOT CAKE.
And all the people who eat the eggless non-cake but call it cake, they are just non-commital fucks who are too lazy for the eggs. It would be inconvenient for them to break the eggs, so they just don't go by the recipe. And now they are hypocrites.

So to make sure I'm correct here, you are saying people who change the bible or ignore several parts of it they don't like, are hypocrites and wrong? Because if that's what you mean I agree wholeheartedly. People have a vast tendency to ignore, or manipulate what they don't like, and then chastise others.

Revelations has some nasty stuff to say about people who add or take away from the Bible. It would do those people good to read it a little.

I just think that if you're going to believe in something, you should actually believe in it. When you remove the fundamental parts of something to make it conform to you, instead of conforming to those fundamental parts, well... you're basically just an idiot.
