I think many like the character story. I've liked the characters and background that's what got me into them along with the system. Hopefully SFV *does* have a better story this time around. I think Alpha 3 actually did well with single player content and story.

DoA5 is my favourite. I started the franchise with DoA2 and I was too young then to care about gameplay, 3 I can hardly remember but 4 I skipped for ages and when I finally got round to it I was left disappointed, but that was probably because I was a latecomer. 5 is my favourite, It just feels better and tighter. Everything is clearer and I just have a much better understanding of the way things work. I'm still terrible and outside of a few moments I can identify why I lost and what I need to do to win.

I played about ten games in a row with this really good player and 9 of them I got absolutely crapped on but the tenth one I figured out his strategy and took the first round and he changed it up for the second but I understood what he liked to do so was actually able to get him close to death for the next two rounds. I really like Honoka, Rachel and Tina to play but Christie will always be my favourite character, she's too damn cool and sexy.

Many people hated the way 4 turned out and felt 5 was a step in the right direction.

Honestly I don't like Marie Rose because her face is a little too childish, now I know a 24 year old woman that has to take her ID with her everywhere because she looks incredibly young. As for gameplay I don't know. If I don't like the way a character looks or acts I don't try them even if they are broken and the best in the game. I also haven't fought any Marie Rose's online and I've played quite a bit of DoA5 online.

I don't mind the look but I guess they have to throw in the young looking girl. Seems they have controversy over everything nowadays. Remember Lucky Chloe?

Yeah I don't mind the look it's just I think dolls are creepy especially dolls that look like young girls and Marie Rose looks like one of those dolls.

Doll like and young. It's just her face. Honoka looks young her face looks young but it doesn't creep me out because she doesn't look young young and she looks like a DoA Girl. Yeah I guess so. In Xtreme 3 she doesn't seem as bad, I don't know if that's because I already know what she looks like or if there's been slight alterations to her that I'm subconsciously seeing.

I think the models look improved in Xtreme 3 overall, body and face wise.

Yes, I don't want to go off topic but I still can't completely understand the crazy backlash from Lucky Chloe. The only "real" reason I can think of is the possible uncanny valley influence that one would receive from her looks (though, some the reason updates made her look quite a bit better, along with the customization options). It could also relate to how she looks ridiculously young (but based on many of the other female Tekken characters, this is definitely not saying much AT ALL). I was actually at work on a lunch break when first saw the character presented on Tekken 7. My first initial thought?

But, I went on other websites. Eventscrubs, SRK and even Tekkenzaibatsu. Holy shit, a lot of people were pissed. I did not think that Lucky Chloe would spark this much madness from "Tekken fans". It got to the point where Harada jokingly stated that Lucky Chloe was not going to be present on Western releases of Tekken 7 and implied that she was going to be replaced with some shirtless, muscular dude. Harada is a master when it comes to trolling. XD

Which is kind of redundant at this point. If players are REALLY into that sort of thing, they could just play Bryan Fury. Or, the like. And also, some of the "Tekken fans" made a lot of quips about how "unrealistic" and "anime" that Tekken has become over the years. There are many problems with that statement and many of them will be listed below:
1). Tekken was never "realistic" to begin with. "Realism" in Tekken was only used as a reference for game development, as well for the sake constructing move sets and some background elements.
2). Question: What the hell is "realistic" about
3). We have players complaining about Tekken not being "realistic"... not being "cool" enough... and being too damn "anime"... and yet this is the same game where we have big ass robots, cyborgs, aliens (yes, there are apparently aliens in this game, based on Ogre's origins from Tekken 3 and the rare smaller enemies from Tekken 6), fighting Kangaroos, Dinosaurs, Angels and Devils.
4). The story and premise itself is about as crazy as you can get (and in a lot of ways, that's actually a good thing).
There are many other ways to debunk these "Tekken fans" on the subject of realism. Basically, if these guys are really into that sort of thing, they need to go play some UFC or something (keep in mind, that UFC is considered a "sports" game. Not a fighting game. And, that UFC game series is hardly something worth taking seriously because even THAT game is unrealistic, just by the fact that is a video game.

And plus, you have scrubs still complaining about other subjects that are not really that big of a deal in retrospect (you will even see this on Tekkenzaibatsu). Over the past few months however, a lot of people (seemingly) warmed up to Lucky Chloe at the very least. And of course, you have the SJW groups whining about Lucky Chloe's inclusion in the series (among other things). I bet you any amount of money that if Lucky Chloe were to make an appearance on any earlier Tekken game, nobody would have said anything (look at Link Xiaoyu in Tekken 3. She was not too far off from Lucky Chloe's aesthetic outlook, with all things considered). Now, I am probably going to play Lucky Chloe on occasions JUST for the sake of pissing the "Tekken fans" off. In a lot of ways, when it comes to Tekken 7 (and many other fighting games in general) it seems like a lot of players like to whine about things that are not that big of a deal to begin with, instead of worrying about real potential issues, such as censorship or some exceedingly odd choice made in the game design and/or mechanics.

Happens all the time online on Fighting Games. Whoever wins Evo is the character you'll be fighting for the next few weeks. Luckily I always just go with who looks the best most of the time that puts me with some of the low tier characters but I end up having fun.

At least they aren't nerfing like crazy in Tekken. That's for sure.

A uncensored version would be necessary. A digital release would be plausible to keep the vocal SJW groups from targeting this series... There is also a side of me that wishes that this game had a physical release as well just as the first two games did. Keep in mind that the first DOAX game was universally enjoyed by most players while DOAX2 was relatively pleasant.
