SF hasn't had blood since Alpha. You can mod the characters on PC. I think all the characters will have a nude mod soon lol.
Actually the last time there was blood was in SFEX2 Japanese version on the PS1:
Plus there was a decent amount of portraits which featured injured & bruised characters that was seen in SFIII New Generations & Second Impact, and plus one original Time Over pose where Urien makes himself bleed.
Yeah you could definitely mod which is always the easy answer, however its just something I would want something to be done by actual developers.
PS. when there are mods, there will always be nude mods. If Tekken 7 sees a PC version, you could always expect a nude mod inserted in the game.

You have mods that remove the background clutter, night time mods, mods to make characters look totally different, etc. I generally like them way more than the stuff they charge you for. And yea I'd rather the developers uncensor it, but they won't although they sure like making Laura revealing so I don't know why they're so random.

Heres are North America publisher from shoryuken: Atlus to Publish the King of Fighters XIV in North America, Promises Improved Online Play Atlus U.S.A. has officially announced that they will be publishing SNK Playmore’s upcoming fighter, the King of Fighters XIV in North America. The company has had a history of bringing multiple fighting game franchises, such as Guilty Gear, Persona 4 Arena, as well as previous titles in the King of Fighters series–going as far back as the EX series for the Game Boy Advance–to western audiences. More recently, they handled the western console release of the King of Fighters XIII. As part of their announcement, Atlus listed a rundown of the game’s features, which you can read below. •3D Evolution: All 50 fighters, movesets and more are rendered in full 3D graphics that preserves the essence of King of Fighters‘s visual style but updates it with a whole new dimension. •The Best Refinement since The King of Fighters ’98: Through extensive playtesting and balancing, the controls have been streamlined, and the Combo and Max Mode mechanics have been overhauled to create the most competitive fighter in SNK’s history. •The The King of Fighters Saga Continues: There’s a robust single-player storyline where several years have passed since the previous The King of Fighters tournament. Now a worldwide business, the global The King of Fighters will decide who is the strongest as both individuals and companies with their own ambitions have come to compete. Players compete against CPU-controlled opponents to unlock the storyline. •The Best Roster Yet: There are 50 fighters total, with 31 returning from previous entries into the The King of Fighters series, and 19 brand new characters. All 50 characters will be available at the game’s launch. •Revamped Online Experience: The King of Fighters XIV has devoted a lot of development time to improving the game’s netcode for vastly improved online gameplay. The King of Fighters XIV uses the PS4’s online architecture to have a whole host of online conveniences, from spectating to saving replay/battle data, and having a single online The King of Fighters XIV profile to connect with friends. The last on the list is probably the most exciting bit about this announcement, as the console release of the King of Fighters XIII wasn’t exactly known for having good netcode. Let's hope they don't blunder like they did with XIII. Such a great game ruined by bad netcode early on.

Here are info on damage scale from eventhubs:
Attacks and combos seem to do less damage in King of Fighters 14 - check out this damage comparison with the previous game in the franchise
King of Fighters 13 and 14 have a number of overlapping combos and attacks. Players of the previous game will be able to jump into SNK Playmore's upcoming title and pull off some of their bread and butter combos with no problems.
However, one might be wondering how the damage of these combos stacks up between games. ATRyoSakazaki managed to put together a video comparing the damage of various sequences performed in both games.
Below is an example showing a Kyo combo that actually deals the same damage in both King of Fighters 14 and 13.
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/apr/13/king-fighters-13-and-14-damage-comparison/
Though this combo is equal damage-wise, it seems that most combos and attacks in the video actually hurt less in King of Fighters 14. This could mean that the overall damage output in the upcoming game is lower or that there are better options for damage to be found.
Either way, you can check out the comparison video after the jump.

Here is a trailer & screenshots for out new challengers from eventhubs:
Mai returns to King of Fighters 14 alongside newcomer ninja/Mai fanboy Banderas
The latest King of Fighters 14 trailer is out, and it shows Mai Shiranui, mainstay of the King of Fighters series, being confronted by ... a huge fan.
Presumably a member of the new South American team, Banderas clearly has some boundary issues when it comes to his idols, as you can see in the first trailer that's actually narrated by the two characters themselves.
I guess Mai isn't used to being on the other end of stalking, huh?

Heres info about PAX from shoryuken: The King of Fighters XIV to be Playable at PAX East 2016 The folks over at the PlayStation Blog just released a full list of games they’re going to be bringing to PAX East 2016 for attendees to try out. That list includes plenty of big names like Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted 4, as well as some VR titles. But, let’s be honest, the most noteworthy game to make the list is The King of Fighters XIV. blog.us.playstation.com/2016/04/13/pax-east-2016-play-over-20-ps4-ps-vr-games/Since the information provided by PlayStation comes in the form of a simple list, we can’t currently say which version of the game will be playable, but since it has been so long since folks in the states have had a chance to get their hands on the game, any version will be exciting to see. PAX East 2016 is set to take place April 22-24 in Boston, MA. For more information, head over to the event’s official site. east.paxsite.com/

Yes Street Fighter III 2nd Impact was the last one to use defeated portraits, when Street Fighter III Third Strike never used defeated portraits again which all you get are their default character art what you'd see in character select, VS., & Victory Quote. I definitely recall seeing Oro's junk when I saw one of the videos from censored gaming which had a video that "sneak passed ratings board".
That is completely strange on how up close buttslap or upskirt shots would be offended people, but females in revealing clothing (which those same people are more likely to be offended by that too) was fine enough. Pretty much an attempt to please every group of people almost as if they don't know who to please.
PS. when I plan on going to EVO, I may plan on finding Ono and give him My criticism along with what I would want to see.

The only thing I would want to see in SFV is a toggle switch/uncut add on which you have the options to see the risqué images that were completely change restore for players that actually prefer what it was meant to be. (similar to DOA Breast Option & Blood switch from various Mature Rated games) This was something I wanted ever since these changes were going on.

Heres Nemo's thoughts from eventhubs:
Nemo: King of Fighters 14's 'feel' is quite close to KoF 98 and 2002, lands devastating 16-hit Kula combo
A King of Fighters 14 public hands-on event is slated to take place in Tokyo later this month. To give fighting game fans in Japan a taste of what to expect when they go hands-on with SNK's latest, Famitsu recently hosted a 90-minute-long stream where special guest Naoki "Nemo" Nemoto, who took the game's latest build out for a spin.
Unfortunately, this build of KoF 14 only contained nine playable characters (the upcoming hands-on event demo will feature 25): Kyo, Iori, Kula, King, Leona, Chang, Robert, Billy Kane and Andy Bogard.
Nevertheless, as this was presumably Nemo's first time going hands-on with KoF 14, there was plenty for the master combo maestro to explore -- scroll through the video embedded below if you'd interested in what Nemo found.
If you're instead more interested in seeing what real matches in KoF 14 feel like, skip over to the time code 1:28:30 in the video below to check out the three full, real matches Nemo played against the Famitsu editor at the end of the session.
In one of these matches, Nemo was able to hit-confirm from a crouching light kick into a devastating 16-hit Max Mode combo that took away 50% of his opponent's health in one smooth operation. Here's the moment in question:
www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/apr/16/nemo-goes-hands-king-fighters-14-lands-devastating-16-hit-kula-combo/
And here's the full video archive; Nemo is playing from the 2P side.
After the stream, Nemo also put up a new entry on his blog to share a few more thoughts on the game. (which is in Japanese)
ameblo.jp/benemo/entry-12149216895.html In terms of the feel of the game, Nemo says that KoF 14 is quite close to KoF 98 and KoF 2002. As he was someone who spent quite a bit of time with the KoF series in the past, he definitely felt a tinge of nostalgia, and was very comfortable with the demo's characters pretty much right from the get go.
With that said, he did wish that he had more time to explore the new mechanics introduced in KoF 14, such as being able to splatter your opponent onto the wall to extend combos, and the new Just Guard mechanic.
Nemo also liked the way you could extend combos with EX moves, which are only available when in Max Mode. Overall, he feels that the level of difficulty for performing combos has decreased, so more players should have an easier time enjoying the new game.
Outside of KoF 14, Nemo has also been spending quite a bit of time with Vega in Street Fighter 5, and will be making his SF5 tournament debut later this month in two tournaments in Japan; hopefully it won't be very long before we see Nemo make his Capcom Pro Tour 2016 debut as well.

Yea that wouldn't be a bad idea. Simple fixes seem had with them. Same with the RQ issue. How hard is it to punish rage-quitters? They should just make disconnects count at losses. The fancy stuff can be done later.

Heres a possible release date info from eventhubs:
King of Fighters 14 to be released by the end of September in Japan, according to new PlayStation ad
The release date for King of Fighters 14 is closer than you think.
When SNK first announced that The King of Fighters 14 was under development for the PlayStation 4 at last year's Tokyo Game Show, we were told that the game would be launched sometime in 2016.
Given that the game's visuals did not exactly blow the socks off of fighting game fans' feet -- although it has to be said that the graphics look noticeably better in the newer teaser trailers -- I think it's safe to say that nobody expected KOF14 to come out in the first half of the year.
So, when is it coming out? We don't know the exact date yet, but a new PlayStation online video ad in Japan this week reveals that KOF14 is expected to be released before the end of September.
In the video ad, Japanese rapper Tofubeats (pictured on the right in the banner) and Denpagumi.inc member Moga Mogami (left) perform a funky number that goes over some of the major game releases for the PS4 in Japan in Spring and Summer. One of the 20 titles featured in the video was KoF 14.
at 1:42 for KOF XIV
The list of 20 games featured made no distinction between Spring or Summer releases. In other words, although SNK and Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia expect KoF 14 to be released sometime before the end of September, it could be as soon as July or August.
KoF 14 coming out in Summer fits perfectly into the PS4's release schedule for fighting games in Japan: Street Fighter 5 in February, Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator in June, KoF 14 in Summer, and BlazBlue: Central Fiction in the Fall.
It's almost as if... somebody went and talked to all of the fighting game makers and very politely asked them to not release their titles all in the same quarter.
With that said, however, the ad should not be seen as a confirmation that KoF 14 will definitely be released in Summer. It's just a tentative release schedule for now -- the final date has not yet been determined.
Interestingly, KoF 14 was not the only title in the list of 20 to not have a firm release date announced.
Bandai Namco Entertainment's Tales of Berseria and Koei Tecmo Games's newest Dynasty Warriors game also only have a vague "sometime in 2016" date. Capcom's Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den is also dated for sometime in September.
The rest of the games in the list are slated to be released from now to September. (which is in Japanese)

Heres a look official drink bottles from shoryuken:
King of Fighters XIV Official Drink Leaks Nakoruru, Ramon and Two New Characters
As some of you may be aware, SNK Playmore is currently hosting a King of Fighters XIV Exerience event in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan. As part of the event, the hosts have been passing out bottles of an “official drink” of an unspecified brand. These bottles contain images of the game’s characters, including some that have not yet been officially announced.
Over on twitter, charlie0816 shared a photo of one of these bottles which shows images of Nakoruru, Ramon, and also of two new characters. One of them, right under Nakoruru, looks to be the 3rd member of Chang and Choi’s villains team from the leaks earlier this year. More importantly, however, off the right is what may be the new protagonist for the game.
“Charlie0816 has shared more shots from the event, including images of what seem to be the characters listed as “Kim’s master” and “Geese’s butler” from the original leak.”

Heres a name change for publisher from eventhubs:
SNK Playmore simplifies company name to 'SNK', reverts slogan back to 'The Future is Now'
Time for a brief history lesson. SNK started back in 1978, closed its doors and was essentially assimilated by Playmore in 2001. Noting the SNK brand's popularity, Playmore became SNK Playmore in 2003.
According to SNK's official Twitter, the company is changing its name yet again by nixing the latter portion to effectively return to 'SNK.' They've also re-adopted their old company motto, "The Future is Now."
While SNK has a long list of notable gaming contributions, the latest King of Fighters is surely the most immediate association with company here in the fighting game community.

Heres info relating to CEOtaku from shoryuken:
CEOtaku Adds The King of Fighters XIV as an Official Tournament
After all the recent King of Fighters XIV reveals and announcements, it’s likely that more than a few folks out there are wondering when they’ll actually get a chance to compete in the game.
Well, now we know of at least one event that’s adding the game to its lineup. In a recent tweet, CEO Gaming has announced that The King of Fighters XIV will be joining CEOtaku this October as an official tournament.
While not an airdasher–which is traditionally the focus of CEOtaku–KOFXIV’s inclusion still goes with the event’s theme of focusing less on tournament staples such as Street Fighter V. While it’s not to say that KOFXIV won’t become a tournament staple in its own right, this is still a great chance to put more focus on the game.
CEOtaku 2016 will take place on October 1 and 2 in Orlando, Florida.
