Starfire was the most popular pick on this poll. I'm glad because that's what I want to see. Assuming she doesn't have a man face.

But, based on your statement and the Netherrealm Studios' reputation, I am scared of how they would handle Starfire, judging of how they craft their female character models.

We have a hunch a certain Clown Prince of Crime will be announced for Injustice 2 tomorrow Whilst perusing the official Injustice Twitter today we came across an image that leads to think we may be seeing a Joker announcement for Injustice 2 very soon. For those who might not be aware, Joker has two pet hyenas named Bud and Lou. The below image popped up on the Injustice Twitter today: It's not 100% certain yet, but this image combined with the fact that we really can't see Batman's main baddie skipping Injustice 2 has us pretty well convinced he'll be joining the roster. We'll be keeping tabs on Gamerscon, and will keep you posted as reveals go live. We should include the fact that Harley Quinn is often associated with Bud and Lou. This very well could be a nod to her as opposed to Joker. Source: eventhubs

Here's 17 minutes of beautiful gameplay footage featuring Harley Quinn, Blue Beetle and Wonder Woman in Injustice 2 Earlier today we discovered that both Harley Quinn and Deadshot will be on the Injustice 2 roster, and IGN has since come out with nearly 20 minutes of brand new game play footage. In their video, IGN feature Quinn, Blue Beetle and Wonder Woman, (the latter two being characters we've known about but seen little of) as the showcase their moves, specials and cinematics. www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/aug/17/snacktimeboyz/www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/aug/17/bluedabudidabudie/www.eventhubs.com/images/2016/aug/17/wonder/The end of the video also looks at some of the costume alterations you can make for each character, further highlighting just how deep of a game Injustice 2 is looking to be. Ed Boon discusses possibility of having characters like Reverse-Flash or Bizarro in Injustice 2 via costume alterations
As we learn more about Injustice 2, the main aspect developers continue to call attention to is the Gear system. Unlike traditional fighting games, Injustice 2 characters' attire directly affects how they perform in game.
Almost every part of a character's attire can be changed as they find different helmets, boots, gloves and other pieces of clothing that boost certain statistics. A natural effect of this design choice manifests in the fact that the ability to freely explore alternate costumes and variations of characters becomes somewhat limited, at least on broader levels.
In a discussion with IGN, Ed Boon talks about the potential to explore characters that are similar to those who make it onto the Injustice 2 roster. An example of this could be special gear that Flash picks up that essentially turns him into Reverse-Flash.
This also would allow developers to sneak in different era versions of certain characters that have had drastic changes over the years.

I'd prefer separate characters, but this would be better than nothing. I just hope they don't fill this game up with 50+ Bat-characters.

Yeah, I was bingeing on steam purchases since January since I was out of gaming for like the better part of almost a decade. I'm mostly sated and I've been able to play almost all the games I missed that i anted to play. KI was one of the games I wanted to try, but I don't really play it too much.

Yea that's what I did when I got back into it. I bought a console, controllers, sticks, hitbox controllers, dozens of games. That crap added up to thousands of dollars. They say gaming is cheap but what it costs you in opportunity costs and other things can add up. I got a lot of stuff on steam cheap but I don't play most of it. I'm sure they're great games but I buy them in bundles and I tend to stick with one game at a time in most cases. You eventually wind it down. That's one of the reasons I didn't want to get KI right away. You buy a new system or upgrade and then you play the game all of the time for a few weeks and then it just collects dust. That's especially why I won't touch another console again. Do you not like KI too much?

DC Collectibles announces a line of Injustice 2 statues, Harley Quinn is first of the bunch Recently, DC Collectibles unveiled the first of a line of statues based on the upcoming Injustice 2, and it looks like Harley Quinn will be the first on the roster to take the spotlight. Harley is hands down one of the most popular characters that the DC franchise has to offer, so this will likely be an easy grab for the collectors out there. The statue stands at around 7.75" tall, and will run at the price point of $80 USD. For those that are looking to purchase the statue, sales start up next April. Source: eventhubs

What's it like when a room of 5,000 people get hype for an Injustice 2 tournament? This clip from the GameStop Expo is pretty amazing At last week's GameStop Expo in Anaheim, California, WB and NetherRealm Studios had a spectacular presentation of their upcoming fighting title, Injustice 2. During the GameStop Manager Show, a huge audience sat in to check out what the super hero brawler is all about. Luckily, attendees managed to capture footage of the event and the crowd. Ed Boon noted on Twitter that the room contained roughly 5,000 people, and the clip that was shared by badsheepbeebee features the tournament portion of the presentation. It's pretty amazing to see so many people getting hype for Injustice 2 this early in its development cycle. You can really feel the excitement from the crowd in this clip, and it sure as hell makes me wish I had attended that conference. http://instagram.com/p/BKZydxDBeEc Source: eventhubs

Explosive Injustice 2 PS4 Gameplay Shows Batman vs Gorilla Grodd and Superman vs Atrocitus
Injustice 2 is a celebration of all things DC Comics, including a few of the more obscure characters, and you can enjoy two of them in the video below.
The clip, livestreamed by the folks at PlayStation Access from EGX in Birmingham, shows off Batman vs Gorilla Grodd and Superman vs Atrocitus and it looks great.

Captain Cold? Ra's al Ghul? The Atom? For clues to the Injustice 2 roster, it might be best to look at DC's current film and TV projects Obviously, roster discussions are heated when it comes to the upcoming DC comics fighting game Injustice 2. No character is confirmed or deconfirmed until they're properly shown by NetherRealm, but speculation has never hurt anyone, right? To delve deeper into what characters might be in Injustice 2, we must first take a glance at what we've seen so far. Supergirl, who has a TV show running currently on the CW (though it started over at CBS), was shown at the game's gameplay debut, despite Power Girl outplacing both her and Batgirl (who ended up being DLC in the first game) in an unofficial Twitter poll held by Boon back in 2012. Besides Supergirl, we also saw a trailer reveal for Harley Quinn, who was of course a shoo-in, and the much-less-guaranteed Deadshot in close conjunction with the release of DC Comics' Suicide Squad film. Even back in Injustice 1, the somewhat surprising choice of Zod was put into the game while Man of Steel was in cinemas. For the implications of this regarding the rest of Injustice 2's roster, continue below. While none of this makes it possible to drawn any concrete conclusions, there are certainly some interesting things to point out. One of these is the elephant in the room, who people have been talking about since the game's announcement trailer, is Ra's Al Ghul. Many lines in the announcement trailer sound like they could very well be lines of Ra's Al Ghul, one of Batman's greatest foes, though in the dark setting of the Injustice universe he could very well end up being an ally. This also makes sense since DC heavily featured Ra's Al Ghul during the 2014-2015 season of The CW's Arrow, where he was featured as the main villain opposing Oliver Queen, The Green Arrow. Even after his stint on Arrow, he has continued to appear in the spinoff series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, a time-traveling adventure series. Speaking of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, one of the main players in that series had their start on yet another DC Comics tv show on The CW, namely The Flash. Captain Cold has long been considered one of The Flash's greatest villains, typically compared alongside Reverse-Flash and Gorilla Grodd (who is in the game already). One thing fans with keen eyes have been bringing up is how in every Injustice trailer shown so far, there are certain objects being analyzed as the logos flash by, and one of them is actually Captain Cold's freeze gun, which you can see below. While this certainly isn't proof of anything, it's interesting to note that Captain Cold is being referred to in the official trailer materials already. As for our last headline occupant, there are no in-trailer things that lead me to believe The Atom will necessarily be a part of the game, but his set of powers and abilities lead to interesting possiblities the current known cast do not have at their disposal, as well as the fact that Brandon Routh currently portrays The Atom as a headliner on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, after debuting on Arrow two years ago. We can't know anything about Injustice 2's roster until we get new materials via trailers or announcements, but I'd say that these three are likely bets, as DC would undoubtedly like to nab as much cross-promotion as they possible can in their different media avenues. For more evidence of such practices, look no further than Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3's roster, which put a heavy focus on Avengers due to the upcoming film, and even putting characters like Rocket Raccoon and Iron Fist, who had no publicly known projects at the time, into the game, likely connected to the fact that internal negotiations for their projects were taking place, unbeknownst to us. 'LOTS of new characters' headed to Injustice 2, says Ed Boon; assures fans the game is still in development
Things have been very quiet on the Injustice 2 front as of late. The last time we saw a reveal was roughly four months ago, back in August when Harley Quinn and Deadshot were announced as playable characters.
Since then, there hasn't been much of anything. No new gameplay footage, details about the game, or even information about when we can expect the next update.
The prolonged silence seems to have made fans concerned about the game's future. One Twitter follower contacted Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, assuming that the development of Injustice 2 had been put on hold.
Not only has the development been steadily moving forward during this drought, but Boon said in another tweet that we can expect many new faces on the playable roster.
Even in Boon's response above, it seems like NetherRealm and Warner Bros. are being tight-lipped when it comes to Injustice 2.
The next large gaming expo is the PlayStation Experience taking place on December 3rd, and WB will indeed be in attendance. If these companies want to end the year off with a large Injustice 2 announcement, that weekend early next month would be the place to do it.

Ed Boon hints at Black Adam for Injustice 2
As we know, things have been fairly quiet in the department of new Injustice 2 information. We haven't seen an official reveal since August, and fans have even started worrying that the game may have stopped development, though Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon assures it hasn't.
It looks as though the Mortal Kombat co-creator has taken to Twitter in order to provide fans with a little something to tide them over as they wait for the next official Injustice 2 announcement.
For starters, Boon recently hinted at the potential return of Black Adam in a response to one Twitter follower.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ed Boon Hints at Both Mortal Kombat and Pop Culture Guest Characters for Injustice 2
NetherRealm Studios is no stranger to guest characters in their fighting games. In fact, all of their fighting games so far have had guest characters–with their latest, Mortal Kombat X, being the most egregious example, with four of them.
With this in mind, it should be no surprise that NetherRealm Studios head honcho Ed Boon is hinting at possibility of guest characters in their upcoming Injustice 2. Specifically, Ed Boon has tweeted two polls for guest characters.
The first of these polls is for a possible guest character from Mortal Kombat. Fans will recall that the original Injustice: Gods Among Us had MK’s Scorpion as its guest character, so having another MK character come in as a guest isn’t unprecedented.
In addition to this, he’s also tweeted a poll for a non-MK guest character. The poll in question has some interesting picks, with the characters coming from popular film and comic book properties.
Now this is in no way confirmation that any of these characters will be appearing in the game; that said, these polls still at least mean it’s highly likely that both an MK and non-MK guest character will be making it into Injustice 2.

Ed Boon is open to the idea of a playable pre-release demo for Injustice: Gods Among Us 2 So we had a playable pre-release demo for Mortal Kombat 9, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and Mortal Kom...wait, we didn't get a demo for Mortal Kombat X, did we? Would that mean that we wouldn't get a playable pre-release demo of Injustice: Gods Among Us 2? According to a tweet to someone's question regarding this subject, Ed Boon is certainly open to this idea. Could we see a playable demo released to the general public before release? Which characters do you hope will be playable, if there is a demo? Source: eventhubs

Ed Boon Asks Fans If They Want to See Watchmen Characters in Injustice 2 NetherRealm Studios’ Ed Boon has been quite busy hinting at possible additions to their upcoming Injustice 2, via Twitter polls. Previously he hinted at possible guest characters, including some from Mortal Kombat. Now he’s back with another poll that’s somewhat closer to home. Ed Boon’s Twitter poll is asking if fans wanted to see characters from Watchmen, the groundbreaking graphic novel from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, in Injustice 2. For those not familiar with it, this classic graphic novel was one of the works that helped usher in the so-called “Dark Age” of comic books, elevating superhero comics through its deconstruction of the medium. More importatly however, the characters from this book were recently added into the mainline DC comics continuity as part of their ongoing DC Rebirth initiative. If a Watchmen character does make it in, it will be only the second time characters from the book will make it into a video game (the first being the Watchmen: the End is Nigh tie-in game to the 2009 Zack Snyder film). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Injustice 2 Will Continue Injustice 1’s Story with Supergirl Playing a “Very Pivotal Role” In a recent interview with Game Informer, Ed Boon was inevitably asked for more revealing info about Injustice 2. Boon says that the way the lore of the first Injustice game took off was a pleasant surprise and, when asked about the narrative of Injustice 2, he had this to say: Well we actually do have a big campaign. We’re going to drop a really cool piece of content. Then we’re going to unravel the story of that. So I can’t really get into a lot of the details of it now. What can I say that doesn’t ruin it? It certainly continues with the story and, as you can tell from the roster, there’s a lot more characters that are introduced. I’ve already said this at Comic-Con, that Supergirl plays a very pivotal role moving forward. I feeling like I’m holding back so much…and the story that we have is, the presentation, is more elaborate as far as the story and options and stuff like that as far as what could happen. It’s not as black and white as the first one.” In the interview, Ed Boon shares history and anecdotes from his 30 year career in the gaming industry. It can be viewed in full on the Game Informer website. www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2016/12/01/ed-boon-interview-2016.aspx?PostPageIndex=1Source: shoryuken
