Tekken 7 sales have reportedly surpassed 2.5 million copies
The Japanese gaming site 4Gamer is doing their brief year-end interview with notable figures in the Japanese gaming industry to give us updates and comments to make over the next coming year. Katsuhiro Harada was again one of the people featured and was able to give us a sales update for home versions of Tekken 7. According to him, Tekken 7 saw over 2 million copies sold within the first 2 months after its launch back in June but that figure is now fast approaching the 3 million copies landmark after half a year. He also mentioned that for this time around, Tekken 7 has seen the most post launch support from the series and hopes to be able to continue updating it and giving the title support for the next year. If you have any kind of requests to make about what you hope to see in Tekken 7 in the future, you can tweet them to Harada directly at @harada_TEKKEN.

With Season Pass completed, I wonder what Harada is going to do for Tekken 7 life span in terms of DLC support? Maybe also soon we might finally see Tekken X Street Fighter.

I'm definitely in the mood for a crossover fighter. I've been on a Killer Instinct kick lately though.

I'm definitely in the mood for a crossover fighter. I've been on a Killer Instinct kick lately though. We got plenty of crossover fighters ranging from Marvel vs Capcom Infinite (available now), BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle (only in Microsoft Windows), & SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy (no PC announcement... yet). But will have to see what is the future for Tekken from Tekken 7 console support & if we'll see Tekken X Street Fighter (considering Tekken 7 success).

I'll have to pick up the Blazblue battle. I remember hearing about it but I never played it.

Tekken 7 receives eight unknown DLC entries on its PC version registry Just over a week ago at Combo Breaker 2018, Katsuhiro Harada announced that Bandai Namco is still hiding things to come for Tekken, and new changes for the PC version may indicate more DLC might be coming soon. www.eventhubs.com/news/2018/may/27/tekken-world-tour-finals-will-be-two-day-event-play-out-december-1st-and-2nd/Eight new entries for downloadable content have been added to the Steam Database page for Tekken 7 under the titles "SteamDB Unknown App" followed by a string of numbers which points to more DLC coming to the game in the near future. Wonkey from Avoiding the Puddle spotted the changes and posted them on his Twitter postulating that at least some of those entries could be for the content that's still exclusive to the arcade version of the game like the Summer Lesson items along with some decals that have been present in the game's files for a while now. The last entry into this database page prior to these unknown pieces was Noctis from Final Fantasy 15's DLC listing three months ago, and the other DLC characters, season pass and Tekken Bowl are among the other items listed on the page. Tekken 7 also received a batch of free additional content including new costumes and customization items that is not among the items currently listed in the database. E3, CEO and EVO are all right around the corner, so those might be some prime events to look forward to these seemingly inevitable announcements for the game. You can check out the entries along with Wonkey's tweets in the images below, and tell us what you'd like to see for future content in the game. Source: eventhubs
