"Tekken 7 is coming, a leaked IGN news video has unveiled ahead of Tekken Project development team lead Katsuhiro Harada's announcement later today at EVO 2014.
Check out the video below. According to the leaked video on AOL, Tekken 7 will reportedly be running on Unreal Engine 4.
"With Unreal Engine 4, we can rapidly achieve visual quality expected on next-gen platforms and go beyond it," Harada was quoted as saying.
"Not only is Unreal Engine 4 powerful and easy to use, but it also allows us to bring Tekken 7 to any platform we desire."
"Never satisfied, never full, they eat and destroy with grubby hands until nothing is left but piss, but now the judgement of all humans has begun."
Today at Paris Games Week, we received the exciting news that Tekken 7 would be coming to PlayStation 4.
During PlayStation's media briefing, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Jim Ryan, took the stage to further discuss plans for the company's upcoming virtual reality development, PlayStation VR.
Noting that Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada is one of the leading virtual reality developers, he proceeded to announce that Tekken 7 will be coming to PSVR. He didn't give any further details, which leaves us to speculate exactly how the fighting game will utilize virtual reality.
This was all preceded by a clip highlighting some upcoming titles, Tekken 7 wasn't part of the presentation unfortunately, that also use PSVR. If you haven't seen it in action yet, take a look at the example below:
Please let us know how you think this new technology will be implemented into the upcoming Tekken.
You can see the full presentation over at PlayStation's Twitch. The Tekken 7 announcement happens around 1:36:00.

Here is some information I found in avoidthepuddle:
After weeks of hinting from MarkMan, Namco officially announces Tekken 7 at the Paris Games Weekly expo that's currently taking place in France right now. While this really isn't news to anyone following Harada's interviews throughout the US tournament scene, what is new is the inclusion of VR functionality. Let's hope it's more than a gimmick like the TTT2-Prologue 3D functionality. The official Press Statement and full trailer of the announcements are below.

Good post. Will you be getting it? Do you play on PC at all?
Lets just say its one of My games to get on PS4 along with SFV, I do plan on getting Tekken 7. The only games I currently have for PC is Carmageddon series & Vanguard Princess, majority of time I play on consoles & handhelds.

I purchase Carmageddon Reincarnation as a bundle which gives Me the first three Carmageddon series, unfortunately Reincarnation doesn't work on My current PC and plan on getting a gaming PC.

It had optimization issues but it works much better now. Not sure if you tried it recently.

I'll just have to check it out. Anyway I really love part of the trailer where we see Heihachi throwing a 5 year-old Kazuya off a cliff, this scene is a pretty nice recreation of the original Tekken storyline.

What I'm looking forward is part of the Story on the finale of the Mishima saga and part of the customization does look promising (plus the IdolM@ster costumes) this is pretty much I'm looking forward so far (since there isn't much information).
What aspects of TTT 1 do you like more over TTT 2?
As far as what I like about TTT1 more over TTT2 is not something I'm going out of a way in making a comparison (from what was available at the time, gameplay is something I don't mind that much compare what others have, and its just a simple favorite game). I just enjoy playing TTT1 when I first rented and this was My first introduction to the Tekken series, really do love part of the soundtrack & Tekken Bowl.
TTT2 while I'm fine with the gameplay and enjoy the Tekken Tunes. However part of this game Fight Lab really didn't teach Me much on how part of mechanics work. Part of costume & customization variety (from what I've enjoy from Tekken 5-6) was a big downgraded like your costume choice is A. Character default costume, B. Casual Clothes (part of their costume is just T-Shirt & Jeans like its promoting something, which doesn't certain characters. Characters either have that as their costumes or just have one costume choice), C. They have costumes done by various artist (which I'm fine with), D. Wii U exclusive costumes. Even default costumes have alternative color when both players select the same character & costume which I would prefer if they were optional choices like TTT1 & Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection PS3 (which I wind up having to recreate by via color customization). While customization improves from 10 slots per character, included a color wheel, decal where you could insert stickers on for your custom clothing. Customization had categories merged (originally: Upperbody, Arms, Lowerbody, & Feet were separated. TTT2: Upperbody merged with Arms & Lowerbody merged with Feet) which would be a problem if you care about one item but would want the other to not be selected, the item choices when it comes to clothing is very dry (compare to Tekken 5-6 where each character has their own unique item) there is a few character exclusives you could fine by via Ghost Battle challenges but non unique items is greater than the unlockable unique items, some of the items may seem out of place for characters.
TTT2 is just not one of My favorites for part of these reasons. The games I listed are just what is My favorites, nothing more.

Pretty much, I've moved on after that and I spend a lot of time unlocking stuff along with making few customizations when the game was new before moving on to DOA5 & Playstation All-Stars. Lets just say I can manage when it comes to fighting, but no where to a point of mastering it, and had to look through movelist by Training Mode to understand which character can do launcher, roundhouse, & tag assault (which is a mechanic I can't seem to do, mostly wind up holding shoulder button to automatic tag assault and go from there) before going through Arcade Mode. I do feel there should've been an advance course to learn some combos and it would be helpful if there was a Command Training (like VF, DOA, Skullgirls, PSASBR, one of Injustice Star L.A.B. Missions).

You played PSAS? How did you like that? I found it fun, but that game was incredibly broken later on which was a shame. It had some nice ideas though.

Yeah, I pre order it right off the bat. I do enjoy PSASBR for what it is, it is completely different from what SSB plays like and had been playing this alot with friends. What is also a shame is that DLC support has ended after Zeus & Isaac Clark were added, especially when Superbot broke up with Sony.

... While I am here, I guess I will spill my guts to ya'll about my thought processing on Tekken 7 so far. Based on my visits here, this is essentially a more intellectual fighting game forum site that also covers a lot of common issues in the FGC... and in the real world. The subject of matter here is Tekken 7.
Tekken 7 is very well-designed but is obviously unfinished as you can see. Or, rather.... the game IS finished. But, there is still ways to go in terms of releasing a complete game. The visuals are fantastic as they are now (which is to be expected). I like the new S! moves for a few reasons: One because it acts like a combo extension... and a wall carry at the same time. It also grants wall splats under most scenarios, depending on the character. Like the bound system from previous games, combo extensions are necessary... but in the case of S!, there are more elaborate combo finishers allowed because of how the character is positioned from the S! move. Also, okizeme... has been... nerfed... and buffed... at the same time. It is A LOT easier to get up off of the ground. But, at the same time, many one-hit moves (especially at the wall in particular) tend to connect and do a lot of guaranteed damage which is good. Another aspect I like so far with the game is the fact every character in the game is capable of doing at least ~35%~40% damage from a generic launcher (some more than others such as Hwoarang or King for example). Also, obviously... there is not as many variables as their were in TTT2 where matches (even between a competitively strong player and a online-warrior) tend to get rather chaotic.
My only gripe with the game so far is the strange scaling on Rage Arts when they are used in juggle combos. Another issue (which once again relates to Rage Arts) is... if some of the characters could have at least more than one Rage Art, with possibly a different animation and/or properties to boot. Another aspect that rubbed me the wrong way was the nerfing of SS (though it still seems to be relatively viable... according to a few other players that did play the game, it seems to discourage players from "preemptively" side-stepping so to speak. I recall JDCR being rather... angry about this. SS~block was one of the primary contributors to his game plans. Most of you have seen how god-like his movement is in matches. I don't have much else to say.
The characters that I "intend" on playing on a competitive basis are the following: Claudio, Heihachi, Josie, Jin, Feng, Xiaoyu, Kazumi, Gigas and Yoshimitsu I am hoping that a female Chang character makes it into the roster (Jaycee seems to almost guaranteed based it's competitor known as SFV whom recently presented R. Mika). Heihachi and Julia Chang were my most-played characters as of DR. The reason why I want to put a bit of priority on Claudio is because he appears to be somewhat likable, if what his profile says is true. He is a character that I can "reinforce" Tekken-fundamentals. (As C-Master clearly saw in some of my game play videos, I tend to play "by-the-books" or resort to "solid/honest" play. I don't like messing up). He also seems to be a solid character but not enough for me to "derp" as if I were a intermediate Bob player. I like Heihachi (and, to a degree, the other Mishima's) due to SS~cancel into EWGF being one of my primary MO's with them, along with basic mix ups and pokes (For obvious reasons, I'd have to play more defensive with Kazuya due to how his move set is constructed in general). Jin... I'm indifferent towards the character but I used to play him a lot. Feng is a character that I probably "should" have been playing a long while ago. I also like Josie a lot because she looks gorgeous. Xiaoyu and Kazumi are stunning in this game as well. I do like Katarina but her game play is not something that I favor. As far as female characters go, all I really need at this point is a Chang character (as I said... it is still more than likely to be Jaycee, which I don't necessarily mind at all). Gigas... is a character that I am legitimately curious about and this also applies to Yoshimitsu whom I liked (but never played) sense Tekken 2 when I first saw him.
I might have a few more things to say but I cannot think of them right now.
Also. For those who wish to have a daily dose of high level Tekken game play. Knee is playing Kazumi right now: xhttp://www.twitch.tv/greentekken
You may need to catch this stream towards around... 3:30AM. The stream tends to last awhile but it is definitely to catch it during the day time here. Follow the stream if you want high level game play on a daily basis. A lot of noteworthy players (tournament goers and local players) tend to show up a lot.
