How to beat Akuma's Fireballs in Tekken 7 Fated Retribution
Tekken-Official just put up a page that focuses on options of dealing with Akuma's fireballs. Akuma is a new inclusion from the game hailing from the Street Fighter series and he brings an interesting dynamic to the core Tekken experience. As such, he pretty much retains a lot of things from his SF4 incarnation but of course balanced in the Tekken world. Jumping in either directions or sidestepping in T7FR will avoid you getting hit by his Hadoukens and each Tekken character has been given moves that have properties that beat out the fireball. There's a list of each Tekken character's attack with this property on the site but I have it translated below for those who have trouble reading it.

Things kick off at the select 3 arcades (Namco Sugamo, Round One Stadium Sennichimae & Namco Hakata Bus Terminal) starting on the Friday (Feb 12) at 10 AM in Japan time. Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Rage Attack Trailer
Tekken 7 Fated Retribution introduces a new gameplay mechanic called Rage Attack. Here some gameplay footage from shoryuken:
Akuma, Nina Williams Trade Blows During Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Location Tests
Bandai Namco Entertainment is currently running a series of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution location tests in Japan. While this is an excellent opportunity for local players to try out the new gameplay mechanics, it also allows us at home to watch some early footage of Street Fighter guest Akuma and Nina Williams.
During their time at the public demonstration, Tomohiro Ikeda and Abdul-Gaffar Allaf capture video of both newcomers throwing down, as well as a bit of Nina mirror match action for longtime fans.
Additionally, JTchinoy shared a handful of videos featuring returning fighters like Lucky Chloe, Bryan, Asuka, Xiaoyu, Lila, Gigas, and Law, so check those out if you’re interested in how other members of the cast transitioned to Fated Retribution.
These location tests are scheduled to last through Sunday, February 14.

Video Footage From Tekken 7 FR Location Tests in Japan
The Tekken 7 Location tests in Japan are well underway and we now have a bunch of video footage to sift through looking for all kinds of new stuff. First off, the official Tekken twitch channel recently streamed several hours of footage from Day 2 of the Location tests from Namco Sugamo arcade and the Twitch archive is now available for viewing. Big thanks to Shudy and the Tekken team for setting up the Twitch stream. I'm so glad I didn't have to sit through a niconico stream.

Another location test from avoidingthepuddle:
Korean Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Location Tests on February 26 - 28
Announced via the Korean Tekken-net website is that Korea will be conducting location tests for Tekken 7 Fated Retribution on February 26 to 28. The announcement is really brief and does not include any other details apart from the date so the remaining part of the announcement post mentions that further information on the upcoming Korean location tests are to come in the near future. Should you happen to be in Korea, this will be the opportunity to get your hands on and try the new update to Tekken 7. For everyone else, hopefully Green Arcade gets their hands on the game and gives us a stream soon.

Here are some Tokido & Nobi footage from Eventhubs:
Tokido's Akuma challenges EVO champion Nobi's Dragunov in Tekken 7: Fated Retribution
While we've known for a few months now that Street Fighter's Akuma will be making his debut in the Tekken universe in the upcoming Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, due for an arcade release in July of this year, we haven't gotten to see that much gameplay of him, certainly not outside of trailers.
However, at the JAEPO 2016 expo, reigning Tekken EVO champion Nobi was brought in to battle the Akuma master himself - MCZ|Tokido.
Watch as Street Fighter 4's most fearsome Akuma loyalist takes the battle to Tekken's turf against Nobi after the jump, but here's a gif to give you a small taste of the action.

Heres a match between Justin Wong & Xavier Woods from eventhubs:
Justin Wong takes on WWE superstar Xavier Woods in Tekken 7... after singing an R. Kelly song with him
The recent boom in fighting game popularity has begun nabbing the attention of celebrities as we've seen the likes of such stars as Lupe Fiasco try their hand against FGC pros.
WWE superstar Xavier Woods has appeared with Gootecks and Mike Ross on Excellent Adventures to play Street Fighter, but it seems he's temporarily jumped ship to get in on the brand new Tekken 7.
At the recent Wizard World Portland, Woods took on EG|Justin Wong in a special Tekken 7 exhibition. Not only did the two go at it in the 3-D fightiing realm, but Woods somehow got Wong to sing a quick sample from R. Kelly's I Believe I can Fly.
Seeing as neither competitor has been able to spend a lot of time with the game, neither was able to simply run away with the set... though that didn't stop the pop offs by any means.

Heres info of MarkMan joining Bandai Namco from shoryuken plus pic from eventhubs:
Mark “MarkMan” Julio Joins Evo, Tekken Teams
Earlier this year, budget constraints forced Mad Catz to restructure with a 37% decrease in staff. One of these cuts, unfortunate enough, was Mark “MarkMan” Julio, who had served as the company’s community and sponsorships manager since 2011.
As one of the foremost ambassadors of the fighting game community, it was sad to see MarkMan leave Mad Catz. During his tenure, the organization produced countless arcade sticks for the competitive scene, making the peripherals affordable and readily available in markets that typically went without. His constant presence at events across the globe showed his willingness to improve the community, and it was only a matter of time before that passion and talent found itself another home.
Funny enough, it’s actually found two homes.
In a pair of recent announcements, MarkMan revealed that, moving forward, he will be working with both the Evolution Championship Series and the Tekken team at Bandai Namco Entertainment America. His roles will be similar to those he managed at Mad Catz: promoting brands, working with the community, and expanding the presence of fighting games worldwide.
“We are glad to have Mark on the Evo team. He is a valuable asset and brings a multitude of relationships and professionalism to the table,” Evo organizer Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar relayed. “His work ethic is unmatched, as we look forward to working together to make Evo bigger and better!”
Speaking with us previously, MarkMan mentioned that the Evo position won’t be his “main” job, and that sentiment was expressed again today when he announced his position at Bandai Namco. We look forward to hearing more about his latest adventure in the future, and are overjoyed to see that he will remain close to the fighting game community in these professional capacities.
