Here is a official survey: Bandai Namco Launches Official TEKKEN 7 Survey If you're a fan of TEKKEN games, you should definitely fill out Bandai Namco's official survey for TEKKEN 7. In the survey, you get to pick your favorite and least favorite TEKKEN characters, and the main reasons you play TEKKEN. Some questions even "hint" at future potential content that might appear in the console version. You can start the survey HERE, and you might want to sit back and relax because survey takes about 20 minutes to complete. survey18.harrisinteractive.eu/wix/p2290274.aspx?p=siy067parSource: fightersgeneration

Here's another survey to gauge PC interest. www.eventhubs.com/news/2016/mar/23/tekken-7-possibly-headed-pc-bandai-namco-guaging-fan-interest-survey/Tekken 7: Fated Retribution doesn't have an official release date for western PlayStation 4 just yet, but a survey posted by Bandai Namco is prompting Tekken fans to answer whether or not they'd like to see an eventual PC release for the game.
Of course, it's a bit early at this point to be making any assumptions, but the fact that the game's publisher is already actively entertaining the idea is encouraging for PC fans everywhere.
The aforementioned survey takes about 20 minutes to complete, but those interested in participating can find it right here. Would you like to see T7 on PC? Let us know in the comments below.

Heres highlight from shoryuken:
Esteban Martinez and Bandai Namco Highlight Tekken 7 at Final Round 19
Bandai Namco games is currently bringing Tekken 7 to select tournaments and arcades in North America. To help draw more attention to these, the company has partnered Esteban Martinez, the creator of FGC: Rise of the Fighting Game Community, to cover each stop in the game’s tour.
posted by NyuNozomiHyuga: Mar 26, 2016 at 9:37pm Their first stop on this tour was none other than the same place where they announced the tour itself: Final Round XIX. With Atlanta considered by some to be one of the homes of Tekken in the East Coast, there was bound to be plenty of hype and passion on display for the new game at the event.
It’s this that Martinez captures in the video below where he talks to various members of the community in attendance and highlights select moments from the tournament.

Heres an interview of Harada & Michael from avoidingthepuddle:
Katsuhiro Harada & Michael Murray Interview at Final Round 19
Final Round 19 took place last month and it was the first available play-test for the upcoming Fated Retribution expansion to Tekken 7. It was also announced at the event that Bandai Namco Entertainment America is organizing a Tekken Tour that will see the game being available to play at multiple tournaments throughout the year in the North America region featuring cash prizes. (Note: full details for the Tekken tour have yet to appear.) With that, all the Tekken 7 action throughout all participating tournaments have been organized and archived into the official BNEA's Fight Channel. The latest upload from the channel includes a video interview with Tekken project lead Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray from Final Round 19 as they both share their thoughts and hints on what's to come regarding the title. Give it a watch and if you're interested, you can catch up on past Tekken Tour / Wizard World event archives up on the channel.

Here are details of the King of Iron Fist from shoryuken:
First Details Surrounding Tekken 7’s King of the Iron Fist Tournament Surface
We’ve heard rustlings surrounding Tekken 7’s aptly-named King of the Iron Fist Tournament, but details surrounding the series remained rather limited prior to today. Just a short while ago, Gamespot revealed the first battery of information surrounding these tournaments, so we all have a better idea of what to look forward to.
As far as basics are concerned, the tournament will be part of the Wizard World Con tour and is free for everyone to enter. The tournament will take place across North America with stops in sixteen different cities, culminating in a North American final where the top competitors from each stop will compete for their share of a prize pool totaling $30,000.
You probably also noticed that we’ve not mentioned Fated Retribution yet in this article, and with good reason. According to Mark “MarkMan” Julio, the King of the Iron Fist Tournament tour will begin under Tekken 7 and will, at some point down the line, make the switch over to Tekken 7 Fated Retribution.
Further details, including when the switch over to Fated Retribution will take place, are forthcoming.

Heres stuff on Bandai Namco Open House 2016 from avoidingthepuddle:
Bandai Namco Open House 2016 Media Coverage
To showcase Tekken 7 Fated Retribution, Bandai Namco organized "Open House 2016" last week which invited journalists to their new studio in Santa Clara, California to dig into the minds of Tekken's lead Katsuhiro Harada and Michael Murray. We are now starting to see the media coverage from this opportunity surface on the internet and I'll be gathering all I could find here. The interviews to come from this divulges a lot of interesting announcements and developments as well as thought processes going into the game and the player communities and it's all well worth the read for people following the Tekken series. I'll be updating this piece as we go along but here is what's out there so far.

“For Tekken, luckily, we’re still able to have a healthy arcade version and recoup the funds for developing it,” Harada explained. “Sometimes, western gamers say it’s an outdated business model, but what people don’t realize is that that phase allows us to polish the game and make a more complete package when it does come to consoles. We also get a large bit of profit, more than most people would probably realize. Those funds don’t go into our pockets--they pay for all the fancy bells and whistles of the console Tekken that people love, like additional characters, beautiful cinematic movies, and more. We’re able to do that because of the profit we get first from arcades. So if we were to develop from scratch just for consoles, it would be much more difficult.”

GameSpot: Who is your favorite Tekken commentator?
Harada: Aris--now that he's a little bit more grown up--is one of the obvious choices because he's very entertaining. Then also MarkMan for MC and such. Rip is actually quite good for people who are new to the series and easy to understand. Personally, I like Tasty Steve. I don't know if you're all familiar with him. He's very hyped, very knowledgeable about both Tekken, but also Street Fighter and other fighting games. He's probably my favorite.

GR: During the numerous Tekken 7 matches at the event, Akuma seemed to be quite powerful, retaining most of his iconic Street Fighter moves (plus an EX gauge) as well as having the Raging Demon Rage Art and a tackle takedown similar to Jin's and King's. Does Akuma have any particular weaknesses that expert players will notice?
Harada: Akuma might seem intimidating at first, but he does actually have a few weak areas. He is actually not that hard to deal with if you have the necessary knowledge to counter him. However, this is one area that we are still working on, so that we can make the game a lot of fun.
GR: If you had a chance not to worry about licenses, what other game characters (from other fighting games or otherwise) do you think would fit in the Tekken roster?
Harada: If it were a game character, let me think. I would ask for two—one from a fighting game, and one that is not.
I think from fighting games, it is definitely Akuma, and I think that it is a good choice, as you can tell from the overwhelmingly positive feedback. If I had to choose another, perhaps Geese Howard. I think a bad man like him would fit well in Tekken, and I am confident we can make him look pretty cool in TK7.
Regarding a non-fighting game character, that’s difficult. Any good ideas? Personally, I would like to take Spelunker from the SNES. When someone chooses him from the character select screen, he is so surprised to be chosen that he dies before the match! lol.

London Comic-Con to Host Playable Version of Tekken 7
Fans of the Tekken series aren’t strangers to waiting a while for console ports to land. To help ease the pain of waiting for the most recent entry in the series to make its way into our homes, Bandai Namco have made a big effort to travel the world with Tekken 7, allowing international players to get the chance to experience the newest installment firsthand at events like Wizard World. The game is even making an appearance at Evolution 2016 as a fully-fledged tournament game in full arcade cabinet style.
Tekken enthusiasts in the UK, however, have had to resign themselves to the long, lonely wait for the Tekken 7 console edition to be realized while gazing across the pond in envy. That’s all about to change though; Bandai Namco have announced that, for the first time in the UK, Tekken 7 will be playable at MCM London Comic-Con–set to take place May 27 to May 29–in all its arcade glory. Eager challengers for the King of Iron Fist title will finally be able to try it out for themselves, which should do something to ease the pain of knowing that a date has still not yet been announced for Tekken 7’s console release.
While there, players can also try out less traditional fighting game experiences including One Piece Burning Blood and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4.

Bandai Namco Releases Details Surrounding ‘Tekken 7: The King of the Iron First Tournament – North America’ Tour Back in February, Bandai Namco began what would become a year-long tour of North America, bringing Tekken 7 to conventions and major fighting game community events for fans of the series to show what they’re made of. Each stop on the tour will feature a $3,000 prize pool with the final event boasting $20,000 in cash prizes. The winner at each stop along the way will qualify for the finals event, the date and location of which are still forthcoming. When Mark “MarkMan” Julio contacted Shoryuken with this information, he also made it a point to direct our attention to an important rule in place for the tournament tour, which states that “[q]ualified champions cannot compete in future ‘TEKKEN 7: The King of the Iron Fist Tournament 2016’ events after qualifying unless they relinquish their qualifying spot.” This should help encourage plenty of new faces to make themselves known in the Tekken scene. Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Japanese Teaser Website Launched
The Tekken Project team rolled out the official website for Tekken 7 Fated Retribution with a story teaser. The stage is set for the upcoming expansion to Tekken 7 that is set to come out in arcades in 2 months time. This signals that activity on the game will be rolling out from now on until the launch and I have a good feeling that the news that we've all been waiting for is right around the corner. New Arcade Business Model for Tekken 7 Fated Retribution - Many More Character Additions Planned
Big news came out of the Kelot Cup tournament from the Tekken 7 Fated Retribution producer Nakatsu. First off, the arcade version of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution will be planning on using a new arcade business model when it launches. As pointed out on stream, this business model for T7FR means that the game will be getting long time support and managed long after it goes live in arcades in July. Nakatsu surprised both Hameko and Yuu on the mic when he said that alongside new characters Akuma and Nina, 'Many More' characters are currently planned on being added for Tekken 7 Fated Retribution. Next bit of news to come from the stream - In mid June, Bandai Namco is organizing an official Tekken 7 Fated Retribution event for the upcoming launch of the title in July.

I've always thought the customization options in 3d fighters were pretty neat. You get a lot of them because animating them is less time consuming.

Melbourne Community Purchases Tekken 7 Cabs, Now Available For Play
Here in the city of Melbourne, Australia, the community has come together to purchase their own set of Tekken 7 cabs for everyone to play on. The 2 set of cabinet costed roughly $20,000 AUD to get down here and that's not including further ongoing payments for Bandai Namco's fee to keep it running making this a pretty extraodinary feat for everyone involved. For those of you in the city, the cabinets are now up and running and a streaming station is set-up beside it so you can play and record Tekken 7 footage. The pricing for the machines to play is $2 AUD to start and then every continue from there being $1 AUD. The shop is open from 10 AM until late every day of the week so come on down if you get the chance!

From Rame:
A year ago, the Melbourne Tekken scene was I'm a bit of turmoil. Tekken 7 was being released on Arcades but, as everyone soon came to find out, we were not getting it. For anyone that knows the Australian Tekken scene, you'll know that Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane get every rendition of Tekken within a month of international release.
A few months later, we were presented with an idea. Why not buy our own Tekken machine? This would solve the issue of not getting future Tekken games. But where would we put it? Jin from the Tekken community stepped up and provided us with a place to house it. Before we could even ask about raising the money between the community, Dion Xu stepped forward and donated half the money required to purchase the machine. $10,000 to be exact. His reason? He wanted to help the community that he is apart of. Jin provided the other half and the ball began to roll.
With help from the whole community, whether it was getting prices, phoning companies, etc, today that dream has become a reality.
Thank you to all those involved.
