Alright, This came out yesterday on Steam. Reviews are mixed because of having bad port. I'll try it out myself after work. anyone tried the steam version yet? I have it, you should look at the performance reviews, it works excellently for pretty much everyone and the specs aren't demanding. The Steam community is the largest group of whiners I've ever seen. It's not a "bad port" per se. It's based off of the arcade version which has features of the PS3 and PS4 version. The people who wanted the game knew this in advance, but they started crying about it because they didn't like that the "PC got shafted". Granted I'd want full features too, but Japanese developers are less experienced with PC and porting so they weren't able to do everything the way they wanted. Immediately anyways. So people are whining about it despite knowing it in advance. These morons have been doing this the past week or two. When I see reviews I want intelligent well written reviews about the product. How it works, does it play well, are their glitches, etc. These people whining about their own problems with the company or with that port of the game should do it elsewhere because it doesn't help out those who want to know how the game plays. It runs really well and looks great, and not demanding at all. Hopefully they keep tweaking it and adding neat features. The PC community is already modding it up lol. I'd definitely recommend it though. Go ahead and get it. It's the first modern 3d fighter on the PC ( you had VF2 but that was decades ago). Hopefully we get more and more like Tekken 7 and Soul Calibur and Virtua Fighter.

Yeah, Strange..
Many people are already giving negative reviews. I don't understand people sometimes. I don't usually review games, but I want to help it redeem its horrible standing as of now, so I gave it a good review as I should. I don't see any problem with it, probably because I have the recommended hardware. but seriously, It looks great as it is. It's my first game of the series and I'm liking it.
I'd welcome tekken, soul calibur and virtua fighter instantly, will pay full price too.

This is very dishonest and isn't helpful to people who are legitmately trying to see if the game is any good or if it works well. The visual difference between the PC and PS4 is mild. Once you consider the PC has much better anti aliasing it ends up being better, plus you'll have mods. People with laptops are running the game fine and I don't see anything wrong with it. Of course with PC you'll always have the odd man out who has to do some tweaking. The specs they gave are overstated and you can get by with less. I'll probably write up a review myself. I don't often but I don't care for the dishonesty and whinig. Definitely can't wait for more 3d fighters on PC, not turning back to consoles ever again.

Or do you mean the "alternate" version? *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge* Also the PC version looks better as usual look at the comparisons. The AA really helps. VS PS3VS PS4

yea ive been keeping an eye on this game. the lack of full features at release and i heard something about the pc version having downgraded graphics vs the ps4 version although those screenshots look nice but im gonna wait and see how well tecmo supports this game on pc. I understand its their first outing on pc so i wont be too harsh on them if they make efforts to patch the game beyond release. With how many of these AAA titles flopping all over the place because of marketing over hype and over hyping from fans and youtubers ive become weary of buying any game within the first or second week.

Pretty optimistic for you. I'll let you know how it is. As far as how it runs, it runs perfectly with no problems and it looks better than console. Already have mods and things like SweetFX as well. Hopefully we continue to expand this game above and beyond. I hope the online is good. I've been seeing too much marketing for Mortal Kombat X and SF5 though.

Well i would expect companies to overhype their products since the main goal is to make a buck but its just mainly the public having stars in their eyes when they are talking about a certain game and how its gonna revolutionize the industry and the gaming journalist companies do the same thing as the public. I know tecmo obviously didnt seem to be doing these things but i was just speaking generally. Imo tecmo should have delayed the game to put all the features into it instead of patching in online 3 months later. A beta for alteast those who preordered would have been great to test the online netcode in order to get it in its best state when it was released.

Oh yea, nothing wrong with a company wanting to make money. I guess I've just seen enough teasers and slow reveals but I can see how others would like it. I guess they did it this way because they didn't want people complaining about PC getting the game much later. I myself am glad I can at least practice in advance. For us non console owners it gives us that and the ones who have it on console can play it there. It seems to be selling well compared to the console versions from what I hear though. I've never seen a game release and then add online. I guess hardcore players will get it and casuals might wait, it's the only game of its kind on Steam for now unless Tekken 7 comes out which I haven't seen any confirmation for.

New Costumes: www.eventhubs.com/news/2015/aug/07/new-dead-or-alive-5-last-round-trailer-shows-fireworks-stage-and-lovely-summer-costume-dlcs/Dead or Alive 5: Final Round remains committed to more add-ons for fans of the series. Not only are they releasing a new character in spring of 2016, but you'll be able to enjoy new outfits for your favorite fighters along with a new stage in just four days (August 11th).
While they've released some images teasing the new DLC, Koei Tecmo has just put the trailer live to give you a full view of all that's coming this summer. Because this is Dead or Alive we're discussing, it should go without saying that this is NSFW.
Check out some images of the new stage and costumes, then watch the full trailer below.

She's one of my favourite characters! She will fit perfectly because if I remember correctly most of her combos are kick based. She's one of your favorites as well? There's so much I don't know about you!

She's one of your favorites as well? There's so much I don't know about you! Favourites in Samurai Warriors. I don't think there's a character in that series that would rank in my Top 10 or even Top 20. She's a good fit for Dead or Alive and I would probably pick her if I had to choose a SW character for Dead or Alive. There's a lot nobody knows about me I wonder who they'll add next. You're too elusive. Gotta open out more.

The Big Daddy C-Master stop being racist! Not all white people look the same!!! Ehhh she'll never be Samus, I might buy DLC if they add R. Mika with the butt slap. You know they have Senran Kagura DLC for this? The clothes disintegrate just like the game. Yea she's too good to be Samus. Hey I can't help being a racist. Too easy.
